Why can’t the stands carry a name for a certain period of time say 5 years. That would be a huge mark of respect for all the players that have been listed and everyone could get a go.

Then we should have the 'John Ford' stand or the 'Original Lambretta Man' stand.

Given the iconic nature of the likes of Chillo, Jock Davidson and Johnny Whitely, it would be a lovely gesture to potentially name the stands after them. I have no allegiance with Rugby League but know from my dad how much Whitely was loved around the City by ALL sports followers, and by general members of the public because of his nature and personality. Both Chillo and Davidson are in the annals of history of the club and should be recognised formally.

Sorted. One side of the ground left for a rolling 5 year nomination.

The Norman Collier East Stand, they've already got the necessary PA System.

We could commemorate iconic moments in the Clubs history.

I couldn't find a picture of just the bell. They were just unfortunate collateral damage.

To be fair, I'd prefer the South Stand to be the Chris Chilton Stand since he spent so many times celebrating right in front of the old Bunkers Hill, and happily name the East Stand after Johnny Whiteley to tie in with FC's Threepenny Stand.
That would be more respectful IMO

The Threepenny Stand at the Boulevard was on the west of the compass.

Apologies - You're right. Not sure why I got the sides mixed up?
Still, I stand by my Bunkers Hill comment
