You can my friend. Just take £20m or so out of your piggy bank to buy the shares, another £5m to cover this years losses and arrange overdraft facilities to cover losses for the next few seasons if the fans get it wrong and we don't go back into the Premiership. Easy isn't it.
I think that's a hideous idea personally. Why? I think Adams is the only managerial appointment I've not been understanding of in 25 years. I could even understand why they gave the gig to Gunn, though I didn't agree with it. There are plenty of people out there who I would be happy to see get the job.
Precisely. It might not please some who are unable to get to games g=for whatever reason, but it IS easier to assess your side when you go to the games. That's not arrogance. That's just how it is. And if I'm not pleased with what I'm seeing I will damn-well say so on here. Likewise, if I am pleased, I let the world know. Not had much chance to do that in the last couple of years sadly.
oh and if this Alex Neil gets the job you could probably add that to the list. Honestly if this guy gets it then I would seriously consider giving up my season ticket after 28 years.FFS!!!
He's now been installed as favourite with most Bookies http://www.pinkun.com/norwich-city/...to_become_next_norwich_city_manager_1_3908275
this is not the time to be taking a gamble on a new young manager, we had that at the start of the season with NA and is the last thing we want again. The players have already showed they need a father figure to guide them, i can only see this ending up in more tears. DM had the chance before xmas to get the right man in, Pulis was the man for me for the simple reason i would totally be happy with him at the helm in the PL, he is proven at that level, none of these other name being mentioned are, IMO it shows our ambition if this does actually happen.
This to me cries out of a club, a board, who are yearning for a Lambert Mk2. Someone young, hungry with a track record at a lower level. Question is, is that what we need? For me, the situation in the summer was crying out for experience and it still is. He's a promising manager by the looks of things but this is another huge gamble to get the best out of our talented but ego-driven players. Every appointment is a gamble but as we've seen down the road, experience gets you a long way in this division.
Would certainly get behind him but I'm afraid that if he were to be appointed in the first place it just confirms the same ol' same, ol' "little Norwich with no ambition" approach IMO

At the time we could have got Pulis City had, in the previous 4 games, won 2 home games 6-1 and 5-0, an away game 1-0 and drawn away at Derby having been the better team. Everybody assumed that the arrival of Phelan had got us back on track - on what basis could you have sacked Adams then? People, including yourself, keep referring to an ambitious appointment - who, realistically, in your eyes, would represent an 'ambitious appointment' ?
