You don't think Ehab will try and claim some type of victory whatever happens ? Do you really think he has changed that
much in the space of a month or whatever ?

My bet is he will point to the low number of votes and say only a minority care anyway and those who didn't vote
were happy with things as they are

He might put some daft commentary on it. I'm not sure why it matters though. It won't affect what the Trust do next either way, we'll be pushing for a proper ticketing model either way, and he'll probably resist. I don't really understand all this talk of him claiming a victory or what people even mean by it. He authorised the ballot. He doesn't really win or lose whatever happens.

If you actually think Ehab will offer any further concessions I think you are deluded, and we normally agree on most things. I can guarantee Ehab will claim this as a victory one way or another, he has set the vote up so that he wins either and the losers are the fans either way.

Ehab has divided everyone even further yet to me it feels like people are starting to trust him. You can't believe a thing him or the club says.

I don't believe a thing Ehab says. I don't believe he'll offer further concessions any time soon, but then I didn't believe we'd get to this stage either. We'll just carry on doing everything in our power to make it a reality. It's worked so far. If there's no progress then there'll be further protests, and that's where Ehab loses because he obviously hates and fears protest.

I voted for the crappy version of concessions in the end
Obviously it’s the principle rather than the scheme that I voted for so I hope for further action even if these are introduced

I got a confused error/thanks message so tried again and it said ‘oops you’ve already voted’

When is the result announced?

I never got a confirmation at the time ...
perhaps I voted for the wrong 'option' for the Pallamster ...

It's not really a big deal. As I said, it's something Geoff was told. Geoff is extremely well connected as you can probably imagine and he gets people from all sorts of different angles coming to him with information they think might be useful to the Trust. On this occasion someone claimed they know that Ehab is hoping for a 'no' vote. That is obviously very difficult to prove or observe and must be taken with a pinch of salt. The identity of the person who told him that isn't in my opinion someone who makes it definitely believable. It's not an issue of trust but an observation of their standing.

Either way, we'll see soon enough. If Ehab wants a no vote then that is what will be announced.

Thanks for that, PLT. I could easily believe he would favour a no vote, I think most of us thought that the obvious option for him. The sad thing is he can just a easily spin the yes vote. TWT.

I do think it is sometimes underestimated who might read these hallowed threads; a bit if discretion can go a long way at critical times, and I'm led to believe these are critical times.

Believe it or not, I totally agree with you; but it does leave me with a couple of questions, if I'm allowed to pose them:

You seem to be saying that the ballot and it's result is irrelevant to the next actions of the Trust (something I've said should be the case), so why have you endorsed it?

Because the Trust have endorsed the ballot, he can spin either result - this has been voiced on here by some prominent and connected posters - you seem to disagree, but I'm curious to know what the Trust have done to prevent this?

What?
By your own ‘advice’ you should have quoted each and every relevant post in the conversation so I know what you’re talking about...

Rubbish; just the one you thought requiring an explanation.

Why not try understanding the simplicity of TOM's point, rather than getting angry at me for reflecting your thoughts?:
