It's probably fair to say it was a load of black kids,because it was in this instance,a load of black kids,why are they being defended and the issue being deflected as if it's some sort of normal behaviour?Nobody was saying it's only' black kids but I haven't seen any examples of any white kids doing the same.If I did I'd be equally appalled at them running around like ****ing pack animals.

I'm not excusing it and can't see in my posts where I have. The original implication was that it's a relatively new thing involving black kids. If looting happened during ww2, then it's not likely the preserve of black kids. I wouldn't be proud if my children were involved - sadly many of the children involved won't have functioning family lives.
It's not an admission, it's a fact I don't live there, although have a property that I co own with my sister, that we inherited when my father passed away, so I return to see family and deal with admin.
The only thing that I am passing judgement on is that there is an obsession amongst some elderly posters to blame multiculturalism/immigrants for all that is wrong in the UK and also to follow a certain media lead and run it down constantly - modern day Lord Haw Haws.

Nobody on here is doing that as far as I've seen.
Blackpool, Christmas 1968 or maybe 1969, Blackpool v Hull City game cancelled as blanket fog engulfed the seaside town. A jewellers shop is looted on the promenade, reports said people were helping themselves from the broken windows and disappearing into the fog...., big news at the time and a lot of stuff was robbed. Who do you think got the blame? Hull City fans, one coach of them who just happened to parked up in the vicinity. No evidence, but that didn't matter in those days, it must have been them, and many were charged. That really happened unlike the Turin gold bullion robbery.
In the 60's the pesky local kids used to stick chewing gum up the chute of the box where any unused money was returned to you in public telephone boxes, so I'm told. This was serious because in the area where I lived there was as many as two public phone boxes, back to back, to cater for several streets of multi occupied houses and flats. They would then sneak back into the public phone box, remove the chewing gum and as much as two pence, sometimes more, would drop into the cup, this would be pocketed by the rascals who would run away and spend it on sweets.
I watched the footage and it is what it is , I don’t understand that whenever things like this occurs which are NOT normal behaviour why some seem to want to defend it or excuse it . There is absolutely no excuse for this or any other anti social behaviour regardless of history .
