You should hear the Muppet that sits behind Me in SAR he hates all of them, but especially the useless "kraut"
I think there is a big difference between a few individuals with big mouths and small dicks abusing a player and the sustained and constant abuse that has been heaped on a few players in the past. Didn't Charlie suffer at the hands on one individual not so long ago...and made a point of it when he scored. ?
There were quite a few singing something like "We have the one **** German" at the Ipswich game. Then he did the hard work for us to score! I think it is mainly at away games that he is verbally abused. He reminds me a lot of Andy McCullough. Not too much ability, but boy, does he try!
I just bumped the thread with Clive''s report from Birmingham where he describes near the end of it, a lot of abuse Polter got before he'd barely kicked a ball coming on as a late Sub.
I take that on board Oslo, and to be fair, Clive does use the phrase 'a small minority', but I can only see it as a ST holder in the Paddock, and I hardly travel away nowadays ( Too many kids and a new kitchen to pay for). As Col says, and my language would probably be a lot stronger, but we seem to have a significent number of w****** who follow our club, especially away.
True enough sadly. However, I got to my first home game in over 5 years for Huddersfield and I'm sorry if it offends those on here who bleat on about their rights to voice their opinions - booing and barracking individual players and the team as a whole is simply not on. Loftus Road only got behind the team for the 5 minutes we undeservedly had our noses in front. I can listen to that sort of loyal support much more comfortably and a damn sight cheaper away from home.
Polter is flavour of the month, Henry,Phillips,Green,Fer,Koncheski,Perch,Sandro have all had there fair share of abuse, his latest gem was JFH'S honeymoon period is over
Absolutely spot on. Mood has been very flat at LR for last few months and gives the boo boys a chance to voice their opinion
Like Polts, came across as a nice bloke (from a short conversation with him) and has made a complete nuisance of himself on the pitch, scoring a few goals, setting a couple up and winning some free kicks in good positions, yes his touch at times isn't great, and he should win more headers than he does, but when he did what a header!!! Think when we have had Charlie up front for a few years we have ben very lucky, a Prem player for sure. with Polts it's bad enough getting grief on the pitch (not my thing) but there have been many comments by fans, not necessarily on here, writing the bloke off weeks ago, when he had barely kicked a ball for the club! Sadly not a new thing
