Cant say I've heard any abuse towards him at the games I've attended, in fact everyone within earshot in the paddock where I sit, is willing the lad to play well...its just the vast majority don't think he is a great footballer.
Maybe on the TV you might hear the abuse you talk of but I honestly haven't heard any at the games
My lad told me Polter was getting stick while warming up at the Birmingham away game. You should hear the Muppet that sits behind Me in SAR he hates all of them, but especially the useless "kraut"
The guy behind me started when his name was read out before the game had startedMy lad told me Polter was getting stick while warming up at the Birmingham away game.
I think there is a big difference between a few individuals with big mouths and small dicks abusing a player and the sustained and constant abuse that has been heaped on a few players in the past.
Didn't Charlie suffer at the hands on one individual not so long ago...and made a point of it when he scored. ?

I just bumped the thread with Clive''s report from Birmingham where he describes near the end of it, a lot of abuse Polter got before he'd barely kicked a ball coming on as a late Sub.
I take that on board Oslo, and to be fair, Clive does use the phrase 'a small minority', but I can only see it as a ST holder in the Paddock, and I hardly travel away nowadays ( Too many kids and a new kitchen to pay for).
As Col says, and my language would probably be a lot stronger, but we seem to have a significent number of w****** who follow our club, especially away.
When you say 'all of them' do you mean he hates all QPR players?
True enough sadly. However, I got to my first home game in over 5 years for Huddersfield and I'm sorry if it offends those on here who bleat on about their rights to voice their opinions - booing and barracking individual players and the team as a whole is simply not on. Loftus Road only got behind the team for the 5 minutes we undeservedly had our noses in front. I can listen to that sort of loyal support much more comfortably and a damn sight cheaper away from home.
