Yes, I understand what you are saying Sterling especially about up-front players being 'versatile' and playing a different role to a striker. My beef has been with those posters who kept trying to tell me that Sagbo and Aluko were performing these roles when they weren't. I have been saying from the start of the season that Jelly needed a player to work to and work off but neither Sagbo nor Aluko were prepared to do this nor did they have the ability to do so. Rodriguez is another enigma who has shown little or nothing. Both Brady and Elmo are blowing hot and cold the same as The Hudd and Livermore. I'm sure that Mike Phelan is working on the cohesion problem we appear to have. I don't think Robertson will be sat on the bench too much longer as we have to attack over these next few games. Shame about Diame as both Meyler and Quinn are a noddle short of a stir-fry at this level.
Ramirez? Ramirez for me is more of an AM than a striker, and he's probably our best available option in that position until Diame makes a full recovery, for me he should have been on the pitch much earlier yesterday, at the expense of either Livermore or Meyler, and on yesterday's performances preferably the former.

Bruce talked about defending with 5 centre-forwards yesterday. Presumably these were N'Doye, Jelavic, Hernandez, Aluko and Ramirez. Perhaps one of the others is who he meant. Brady? Huddlestone?

Yeah but let's be fair, that literally means **** all because Brucey still believes that Aluko is a centre forward, so he amusingly thinks Ramirez is too. Both Aluko and Ramirez, especially the latter, are effective AM's, and in no way, shape or form are centre forwards.

Hopefully Phelan has put him right on this.

I thought he WAS an Attacking Midfielder! I've never classed him as a 'striker'!

Aluko is a winger.

We should play with wingers next season.

We should tell bruce to F off in the summer. I think he's going to walk of his own accord anyway thank god.

Get someone in who knows how to get the lads playing some real football. I think we can challenge for Europa spots.
