I would agree. Dont see any of tuesdays starting 11 (except maybe Rosie) starting the Orient game. But i would have Chester, Quinn OR Meyler and Simpson on the bench just in case. I hope that Bruce gives reserve strikers Margets and Clarkson bench spots. Lets see what they can do against average league opponents. imo.
Ok. Did not know that one. Well we can bring him back for round 4 then maybe ? Yeah of course he has ? Which car park did this conversation occur in then Chazzy ? The likes of Max Clark, Margets, Clarkson are more than good enough for the subs bench and a run out at the end. For the benefit of those who do not watch the reserves and youth. Clark is class end of. As for a cup run, yes, but finance apart - just so that the squad players can get game time now and again. Reported Interest Yes - but no firm enquiry Bruce said. Stewart cannot go straight back out on loan unless Burnley want him back, which is unlikely. Stewart now has to grab his chance here on saturday with us and show what he can do. Otherwise he will end up with the reserves. Dont see anyone wanting to buy him at the moment. Mclean is closer to signing for Barcelona than Millwall judging from his recent tweets. It was I. Yes Steve Bruce told Burnsy post game after Blackpool that ALL 7 subs today will start on saturday. Just who makes up the other 4 sports.
If he hasn't gone back out on loan before the weekend then I would play him to put him in the shop window
As Ricardo said to you the other day, you have no credibility on here. Your a deeply disturbed person i reckon, with your supposed knowledge and inside info and the deliberate spelling mistakes. All apparently to strive for more and more attention. Here you go you creepy old fool. http://www.thisishullandeastriding....help-careers/story-17208792-detail/story.html
Has Stewart made any appearances for us this season? If so we would only be able to loan him to Burnley (unlikely seeing as he is not playing for them that I am aware of) or keep him. If he hasn't, if we played him that would prevent us being able to send him out on loan, apart from on an emergency basis?
Depends who wants him and when they want him. He can start his emergency loan whenever he wants, but it's for a maximum of 93 days (plus the fiddling you can do by breaking the loan up). I can't see anyone playing in the Cup wanting him for this weekend (surely you make loan signings to help you in the league), he can train with them before the loan starts so teams in a relegation battle or going for auto promotion will be aiming to start it next Friday so that he can play next weekend and then in as many other games as possible. They'll not be worried about giving him a game first for match fitness if we agree to play him against Orient anyway. Equally someone who is looking to get into the playoffs in which ever division might want to leave it later so that he can play in the playoffs as well.
Further to Ricardo's post, since we're in January we can mess about with loan players as much as we like. For example Conor Townsend, if we wanted to play him we could recall him from the emergency loan at Chesterfield, play him in the cup to see how he's doing and send him back again without much bother, either on another emergency loan (which would actually last longer due to being here for a few days) or a long-term loan til the end of the season. Mind you he's suspended anyway I think.
Or we could use a more conventional method and just send a scout to go and watch him play for Chesterfield, which would be more accurate because we'd see how he's playing within a team he's been involved with and played/trained with for a while now. Which is the point of a youth player's loan, rather than chucking him in an unfamiliar system with 10 players he hasn't even trained with for the majority of the season
True, but it'd be nice for some of our 'promising' young players to get a game at a decent level before they're 24.
i'm not sure being part of a second string team against Orient can be counted as a decent level. But i agree with your post!
This is who I would play Jakupovic Rosenoir Bruce McShane Dawson Stewart Olifinjana McKenna Cairney McLean Proschwitz A very strong team for the likes of Orient. Shows the depth of our squad.
Looking at the Orient squad there is hardly anyone i have ever heard of. Orient only played 2 festive games as they were postponed on saturday 22/12/12 and boxing day. So only player saturday 29th and New Years Day. For those who may wish to know here are the names of the Orient teams that played the last 2 games. ORIENT v. Walsall(h) on sat 29th................Yeovil v. ORIENT on new years day. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- GK = Jamie Jones.......................................GK = Jamie Jones DF = Ben Chorley.......................................DF = Ben Chorley DF = Matthew Baudry.................................DF = Matthew Baudry DF = Leon McSweeney(midfielder).................DF = Leon McSweeney(midfielder) DF = Dean Cox(midfielder)............................DF = Dean Cox(midfielder) MID= Moses Odubajo...................................MID=Moses Odubajp MID=Lee Cook............................................MID=Anthony Griffith MID=Martin Rowlands...................................MID=Martin Rowlands MID=Lloyd James.........................................MID=Lloyd James FOR=Kevin Lisbie.........................................FOR=Ryan Brunt FOR=David Mooney......................................FOR=David Mooney I wonder how many of these will survive for saturdays game ? Orient have a Paint Pot Cup Qtr Final game on tuesday as well. So being close to a possible date @ Wembley what will manager Russel Slade do i wonder ???
