Townsend & Cooper are both at Chesterfield, didn't realise East was back, I would defo give him a run out

His loan ran out yesterday, but there's been no announcement on him returning, or if the loan is going to be extended.
i think that we both have seen his promise. it would be interesting to see if he can now deliver
Emerton is 21, he doesn't seem to have much of a look in at Alfreton, he's only had one start(and that was a cup game) and three sub appearances(two league, one cup).
Emerton last 3 games, came on as sub in the 90th minute, came on as sub 80th minute and unused sub.

Am I right in thinking that's the highest level he's played at? At 21 that's shocking for someone who was supposed to be really good, and clearly has something about him at reserve level.
Emerton always looked excellent for the reserves and in our pre-season games, yet he hasn't had a loan until he's 21 and I've no idea why.

If that was the case he would have been recalled and sent to somewhere with a decent management team who would play him.
At 21, if he isnt getting games in the conference he isnt going to get games for us, is he. Whether he looked good in the ressies or not, I cant see him marking the grade now and he's another one which should be shown the door IMO.
Should have been loaned out earlier. His spell in Division 54 of the Swedish leagues (or whatever it was) doesn't count. We've basically killed the talent of what could have been an excellent player.

Liam Cooper is Cup Tied regardless of when his loan runs out. Is not Townsend due back this week though ? Time for Steve Bruce to get both out on loan to a league one team. Scunny are crying out for better defenders ffs. 2-0 up on new years day against Oldham at home and fooook it up.
Aaron McLean tweeted today that he is fed up of some so called City fans thinking they know whats best for him. As if they would. He does not know what to do at the moment. He should be playing on saturday and do what he can to shut up the few idiots we have. Yes he is not a massive goal scorer but we dont have anyone at the club who has his energy levels. It takes all sorts to make up a good squad. McLean should not concern himself with these clowns anyway as they are no doubt the same ones who slagged of Dawson, Ashbee, Turner and the like not so long ago.
