Yeah, I forgot, he also makes a habit of doing this too.

When junior got injured, Bruce switched to four at the back, rather than simply replacing him with Maguire, I don't think he's got any confidence in him.

In fact, I don't know why he didn't accept the £2.5m bid from Brizzle, I don't think he'll get a game unless we're down to our last two centre backs.

Exaggerate much? A few weeks ago we were moaning that our midfield don't score enough goals and you're annoyed that a midfield player elects to shoot?

It's up to Sone to force his way into the team again, we know what he can do and pretending that he isn't a talented footballer at this level is bollocks, so don't do it, else you'll look a mug.

The thing about Dave and Elmo not working. It probably could work much better, simply be swapping Elmo to right back and Dave to the wing.

We all know Elmo is at his best running into space from deep and pinging in a cross.

While Dave looks like he could beat a man with pace.

    Sort it out Brucie.

No Sterling, you look a mug when you're singing his praises after he's been given yet another chance to impress yesterday and once again failed. When was his last stand out performance, or even his last memorable moment? The goal at Newcastle?

Aluko looks busted flush, I realise that there are some on here who were telling us that he was our best player in the Championship a few seasons ago but we've moved on, and he appears to have turned to ****.

I am no Aluko fan, I have said many times he plays for himself rather than the team but there have been times when he plays like his arse is on fire and this COULD result in Hernandez being given a little more space. Akpom isn't doing that for me and just runs the ball into nowhere from what I've seen of him but that is very little to be fair to the bloke.

Given a chance to impress yesterday was he? For all of ten minutes at best, sure there's plenty of time to show what he can do while the game was stopped to change the referee. Seems like a fair chance, you're right.

He hasn't featured much because he's down the pecking order, but it doesn't mean he's just lost all of his ability; as I said, it's up to him to force his way back into the starting line up which I'm sure he's capable of doing. I'm not going to base my opinion of him on our last Championship campaign as that was 3 years ago, but equally I'm not going to jump to conclusions based off the back of a handful of minutes in the dying embers of a game.

I've been wondering that for a while. Does Bruce know Dave can play on the wing?

Bruce is the best player to play in the central role of a back 3. I haven't seen anyone play better in that position.

You could apply that to a few players currently at the club. We seem to have unnecessarily strengthened in certain areas, when other areas we neglected were crying out for strengthening.

After watching yesterday game is anybody else worried about Dave's habit of trying to run the ball out of defence, he's giving me heart attack's doing it, he nearly got caught in possession on a couple of occasions yesterday.

Odubajo is the problem for me, we're forcing him into the lineup at all costs.

3-5-2 clearly suits us better so he should be on the bench.

    McGregor
    Bruce Davies Dawson
    Elmo Huddlestone Diame Livermore Robertson
    Aluko Hernandez

I thought buying Dave would put a boot up Elmo's arse as they'd be vying for the same position. As it stands SB is playing them both regardless. Elmo is remaining complacent with no competition for his place & Dave doesn't appear, to me, up to the job. Maybe he'd be better played as a winger with an established right back behind him. At the moment he's not doing enough to earn a place in the team. For me he should not be playing on the left, we have left sided players for that.

    Mac

    Daws Bruce Davies

    Elmo Livers Hudd Diame Robbo

    Chubbs Hernandez

If we persist with four at the back I'd play Elmo behind Dave. I think he'd be more productive overlapping.

    Mac

    Elmo Daws Davies Robbo

    Dave Hudd Diame Maloney

    Chubs Hernandez

Huddlestone is a problem for me, he slows our play down to walking pace, plays only square and backward passes of ten yards, for a player who is supposed to be able to ping defence splitting passes and have a powerful shot he just isn't doing it.Also if we do go 4-4-2 surely Bruce will not pick him and Livermore as our central midfield pair as he watched it fail for most of last season.

McGregor needs to get up into the opposition's penalty area every time we have a corner. Its about time he scored for us the useless git.

He looks as though he's given up before he's even hit it. MInd that one from Hernandez was worse.
