Until the Allams start TRYING to fill the empty seats in the stadium by doing cheap ticket offers they can F off as far as i am concerned.

With respect, it's almost certainly done to irritate people like you and PLT so to that extent it's a resounding suçcess. But what practical difference does it actually make?

In case you haven't noticed, there's a lot of fans that the owners have pissed off that are still not attending games, a smart man would be building bridges, only an idiot would try and piss them off more.
It's seriously embarrassing. Have a search on Twitter for the words Hull Tigers. It's used by loads of people just to take the piss out of us. Daft ****s who support 'cooler' clubs yes, but its a needless source of derision. Thousands of foreigners will see that page and think it's our name. Loads already do get confused. Again social media shows that.
You're right. But given that we both agree it's the kind of thing the owners do, how can you so ardently support them? What is it about this family that makes them able to behave so unreasonably with such regularity and still continue to get support and respect from some people? How can you take someone seriously when you're fully aware that they make strategic decisions based on what will piss people off the most?
A "Smart" man would realise that the minority of fans such as PLT are so entrenched in their anti-Allam mindset that no amount of attempted bridge building would be worth the bother!

The Allams are chancers who have been stuck with a puppy they want rid of. Unfortunately some folk can't distinguish between their charitable acts and their vindictive and mercenary football affairs. Either that or they just want to feed the arguments they thrive on.

I don't think they are 'chancers' at all. If they were they could have waited for the club to go belly up, took the ten point deduction on the nose and bought us for a £1.
But they didn't, they came and paid way above the odds and also cleared the debts. It was a huge gamble and could have quite easily have back fired.
IMO I think someone ? over sold the club to them with a notion that the council would bend over backwards and hand them the stadium, more fools them for believing that if indeed my notion is anywhere near the truth. Bigger fools the council for sending the village idiot Terry Geraghty to the initial talks on the subject, because some sort of deal could have been struck if there was a willingness from both sides of the table.
They said from day one that they had a five year plan to get the club back in the Premier League and they achieved that in one. Luck or good recruitment ?
On the plus side we are very well positioned to win automatic promotion back to the Premier League.
They have invested in the Academy and the Training Ground far, far more then any other owners.

The Allams appear to have taken the view that whilst gate receipts amount to little more than 7% of revenues when in The Premier League, which is when all this name change nonsense etc. started, they would pursue a strategy which trod all over its fans given that the financial implications were limited. This of course is complete folly given that any responsible, professional and sustainable business and brand should positively engage with ALL stakeholders and communicate a consistent cohesive strategy aimed at optimising brand loyalty, revenue and profitability. The Allams claim to know all about branding, but nothing could be further from the truth based on what has been placed in the public domain. Their financial acumen at face value looks to be astute and considered, everything else is in stark contrast.
Relegation meant the club have to think local, and forget about the bigger picture of global domination, as such are more dependent upon the fan revenues, but current attendances are the only benchmark to assess the potential damage they have created, and attendances demonstrate how disgruntled some fans have become.
I suspect all will kick off again should we get promoted and return to the promised land; I sincerely hope some sensible and basic marketing is implemented to address the fan issues that clearly exist. Against a backdrop of a club that has always tried hard to work with its fans over the years as its revenue has traditionally been so dependent upon them, to the current day were the owners at face value seem to not give a jot, its this disconnect which is undermining its relationship with some of its fans as key stakeholders. Allam has made some creditworthy contributions to the local community, not least the uni and hospital donations to name but two, but whatever legacy he leaves behind is in danger of being derailed unless he gets back to basics regarding Hull City!

I do not support Allam, and in that I am at the moment fairly entrenched
However the reason for that position is very clearly about a few things done, which don't need to be. My position could easily change
If AA was to come out and say that while he still believes that the name change would have been a good idea, but now recognises that the fans don't want it so he won't ever attempt again and will start putting things back to Hull City, rather than Hull Tigers and acknowledged that for some reason fans seem not be coming and he genuinely wants to understand why that is and wants to do something about it...and then actually does something productive I would be far more likely to support him because there are lots of things he has done for the club which are good. Its just they are more than weighed off by a few petty and unnecessary things
