Played under Mowbray at Blackburn. At his best playing as a left sided forward though so not really sure if he is what we need.

That's fair enough but I just don't see us paying anywhere near his weekly wage unless they subsidise a large portion of it.
Love to see him here but I am sure he was more successful in the Clarke position, coming in off the left rather than a centre forward.
It’s a question as well if we will pay his wages and a loan fee to possibly have nothing to show for it by the end of the season. He’d most likely go back to Villarreal. I guess that a deal like this would be more likely if we were 2nd or 3rd in the league.
Interesting shout though, and a possibility.
