I havent dared post about Pembele today, never really imagined we could be in for someone like him. He is absolutely outstanding, really really good. If we have got him in then I think the recruitment lads need a bumper pay rise. He is genuinely one of the best young players I have seen in the last few years. Pace, technique, reads the game, can pick the pass. I dont want to get carried away but seriously if he signs I will be posting some malt fuelled drivel. Honestly the lad is absolutely class, and guess what, he will have learned his trade defending against Mbappe in training!

I was amazed he was over at Longbenton and not the AOL this morning. Mags confirmed they are all done and we were meant to be selling the full first team.

I have said this before but I think Hume will play centre back most of his career. I thought he was outstanding there end of last season. Mowbray knows a central defender I wouldnt bs surprised to see him make the movs gradually. And as good as I think Pembele is Hume has the shirt now and Pembele has to prove himself. I love Hume as well and I would back him to play his way into this side somewhere, he has that attitude about him.

Too small and too slow. He is decent but over hyped.
