Of all the forwards we have been linked with I think he is a level up on them. Sounds like it hasnt been easy so credit to the club for getting it done. Just want to see him on the pitch now.
Think goals will be spread around more, rusyn is a better finisher than stewart but obviously not got the all round physical presence of stewart
Just shows the club have had to be patient to get our no1 target. No panic by the sound of it and stuck to their guns, n for the folk saying we dont spend money i reckon we would have made a few million for this deal

Not sure if anyone is having a go a Stewart? Totally understandable move for him, and we've got more for him than I thought we'd get for an injured player.
Either he does brilliantly for Southampton and we get more money as add ons, and any money if they sell him
Or he flops and we've sold a crocked player for 8 to 10 million

I met him after the playoff final we lost at wembley and said I adored you as a player when I was young but your patter is ****ing lifting mate.
I havent dared post about Pembele today, never really imagined we could be in for someone like him. He is absolutely outstanding, really really good. If we have got him in then I think the recruitment lads need a bumper pay rise. He is genuinely one of the best young players I have seen in the last few years. Pace, technique, reads the game, can pick the pass. I dont want to get carried away but seriously if he signs I will be posting some malt fuelled drivel. Honestly the lad is absolutely class, and guess what, he will have learned his trade defending against Mbappe in training!
Absolutely brilliant signing Rusyn in my opinion. I think we are going to love him. Looks absolutely top class to me.
Then the lad from Chelsea has me really intrugued. Very highly rated in the u21 scene, seemed to be on the verge with Pochetino. Watched some highlights and he looks like he will really fit in here. Certainly looks like the one to run in behind and stretch the pitch.

What's also great is that we have 3 strikers on our books that we own, with Burstow easing the burden on Rusyn whilst our other 2 settle in.
A 24 year old who has scored in the Europa League, Conference League and Ukrainian top flight. Under contract for 4 years.
A 20 year old who has played for Portugal at various youth levels and has come from a club known for developing good players. Under contract for 5 years.
An 18 year old who has played for Spain at various youth levels and has come from a very well regarded youth set up. He's also played more than a dozen games in Ligue 2 despite his age. Under contract for 5 years.
If our scouting system have done their job, the "striker situation" has been solved in this window potentially for the next half a decade. Players will come and go but we can decide when.
Wasn't on that list so it's presumably one of the others...
