Then the lad from Chelsea has me really intrugued. Very highly rated in the u21 scene, seemed to be on the verge with Pochetino. Watched some highlights and he looks like he will really fit in here. Certainly looks like the one to run in behind and stretch the pitch.

Depends on definition I suppose, Aouchiche is certainly an attacking player and can play wide.

Plan might be to switch to 2 up front?
But aye, Burstow, Rusyn, Mayenda, and Hemir is more than enough. Mayenda and Rusyn can play on the wing if needs to too.
Hopefully get Pembele, Aouchiche, and Crespo over the line now.

Honestly if this window finishes with Aouchiche, Crespo and Tembele in ; and Pritchard, Batth, Gooch and Stewart out , I would argue our squad is possibly better than it was at the start of the window
I don't get the animosity towards Stewart. I've never once watched him and thought he's not trying, he's a 100%er.
He's 27, he hasn't got that long left and he wants as much money as possible from his next contract, which will probably be his last chance to properly set himself up. I just dont get the 'if he doesn't want to be here' stuff. That's not how football has worked for at least 40 years.
If he doesn't leave (I think he probably will) I have absolutely no doubt that he'd graft his pods off. It might well be to secure a move in Jan, if we won't meet the value he places on himself, but that's the deal with footballers...performance related pay increments either for the club you're currently at or at another club that will give you what you want.
I'll always think well of him. He's not been gifted anything, whatever he gets out of his career he's earned.

I had a full on meltdown last night like, felt like my world was caving in when Roberts, and Clarke might have been off as well.

Don't think anyone ever thought he wasn't giving 100%. Everyone loved him...it's his reluctance to sign a new deal which makes people want him gone.
