Liverpool are absolutely mad if they don't take that. They'd obviously be a bit weaker up top this year (until Jan at least) but could upgrade half their squad in the next window with that money
Massive amount of money, £150 million or £175 million. The players Liverpool try to spend the money on will treble in price, mind.

At 8- 10 million ,of course he is

He had a decent season at Celtic then sat on the bench for 4 years at 5 different clubs before we signed him in League 1. By the end of that L1 season with us he’d scored 3 goals in 5 years.

He had a good season for us last year. That’s 2 decent seasons in his career and he’s nearly 27. He should’ve been doing this 5 years ago.

Our fans need to realise that some of our players just aren’t as good as they think they are.

I've decided on my 'byword for the day' which I like for special occasions <laugh>

"Fidel Castro:
I know, I know, I know ...

... but we all knew from day one this mumbo jumbo wouldn't fly! I'll call Washington and tell them they won."

Yep,that's what will happen. The only way this could benefit our domestic game is if Liverpool spend it on players from our non PL league clubs, which they won't because such players won't be PL ready. So,they'll spend it on players from the top European leagues...spending £100m + on a player they could have bought last year for £20m.
The implications of all this are scary.

I'm hoping it's the explosion that blows the game to pieces tbh.
