I’d argue unforgivable mate. As I say though, sure that won’t be the caseWould be horrendous. We’d be way short.
Probs Speakman or our press officer.
Spot on mate. Would be gutted if Roberts go and I dont think he willDont take this the wrong way lads, but this is probably the best sign we are a serious football club again. Clubs with money wanting our players, clubs that arent Shrewsbury (no disrespect). I am quite excited by it all, to be frank.
I dont agree om Gooch going. I dont want to see Roberts go. I would have liked to watch Stewart again. But look, non of them are irreplacable, at all. So what is our incomings looking like? Lets wait and see eh.
Got to wonder on Roberts. I wonder if the club have a plan. This Southampton thing is out of the blue, but my guess it may have come up in the Stewart discussions. Maybe there is a deal to be had, and off the record conversations have set this up. If so we will have someone in mind, and maybe that somebody will be better. Maybe that somebody is currently getting close to fitness by his fireside in Manchester telling Mowbray yes, see you tomorrow. Maybe Rigg is in his ear saying I am your man. I am going to live in hope, not pessimism. Tony was spot on today, the king is dead, long live new ones.
Totally agree mateThey have my backing also mate but I’m just talking hypotheticals tbh. If it was only Rusyn I’d have a hard time trying to justify it.

Fergy was a master at selling his best players and rebuilding strongerOne of the biggest/most significant transfer deals in PL history was done on the off chance. Leeds phoned Man Utd to enquire about Denis Irwin. Fergie got wind of it and told Martin Edwards to ask about Cantona. The rest is history
Not arsed about Stewart going to be honest and that’s a good fee, it’s all the interest and stories of Roberts, Gooch being off as well as the existing Pritchard and Batth rumours. Could be bad day for the club if it all comes off and we will not have time to replace those we lose, especially if we are expecting equivalent quality to come in. It’s a massive task to replace one let alone 3 or 4 on the last day. We will have to wait and see as you say and hopefully no one will further test our resolve on Roberts especially.Don’t disagree totally bud, but let’s not over dramatise. We’ve agreed to sell a player who won’t be ready til October, and has only played 13 games at this level, for an eight figure sum, and we don’t know until 11pm tomorrow if we’ve spent any on a replacement. We’ve rejected a bid for another injured player, who I agree has shedloads of skill. He hasn’t gone yet and may not, but if he does we’ll obviously get a decent fee, and won’t know til 11pm tomorrow if we’ve got a replacement. We look like we’ve sold our utility man, gooch, for £1m a player who will only be on the bench this year. And we’ve bought a striker btw apparently.
So in short don’t panic until we see the whole picture and squad.
Don't think we need a RB. We have plenty of cover thereSo where are we are with what we need now?
2 strikers
RB
DCM
And with Pritchard possibly off so another no 10
Maybe Southampton come back for Roberts so another RW.
Gonna be a very interesting next 24hrs or so. KTF.
