Seems to be the going rate for a young English striker. As I said in a layer post, I wouldn't pay that much for him either
I’m sure we’ll sign a striker, but they’ve been pissing about for far too long with this. They’ve known the score for ages. I’m aware that deals take time (especially for goal scorers), but we need recruitments this week. Need something to make us tick.
A year ago ,certainly not. The markets changed completely now though and young average strikers are commanding this type of fee.
We needed recruitments in that position 7 months ago
we have less than one week to address a problem we've had for months or accept this season could potentially pass us by. Mogga's indicated every interview that a striker is on his way...This interview he changed to say it may not happen...Thats a huge worry

I think Stewart stays this window. Our value on him should double for Southampton who are a league rival and received over 100m in player sales this month.
He looks like what I thought we were getting with lihadji, looks taller than 5ft 9 too
Stewart- if we have strikers lined up I’d stick with a 10 million valuation IF we have other strikers lined up (could we get say Cannon for 4 with add ons plus Rusyn plus others?) and keep if people won’t pay it. They probably won’t but who cares. It’s silly season.
I agree with this, if you want him its £10 million, if not then he will be playing for us
Hes a cracking player, lovely balance in possession - only seen twice but looked good both times. Direct, quick and can beat an opponent
He wasnt great at getting himself into goal scoring positions the games i watched so would need to add this to his game but he does have a good shot on him

Im always wary when its a player coming from another country. I think he could make a bit of am impact this season but likely be next season where we would really see his impact. He would be a cracking impact sub tho then work up to being a quality starter next season
He will make a bigger impact than Ba imo. The issue with Ba is i dont think anyone knows his best position. I scouted Ba a few times before we signed him and he played, CDM, CM, RWB, LM and AM - i only watched him 3 times!!
I really like ba seems best playing 10 (which is probably our most stacked position) or off the left but not quite as a winger, torn between a loan and persevering with him, maybe a loan until jan then re-assess
