Im not sure keen is the word I would use. More a begrudging acceptance that considering the signings we’ve made it might be for the best
Going to be interesting to see where he fits in, especially when Dack is up to speed.
I fully expect Jobe to play the #10 position tomorrow, so be interesting to see what happens with Pritch. He has quality, but can we rely on him being fit? 64 starts in the 2 seasons he's been here suggests he'll be available for 2/3rds of our games over a season

TM was hinting Bellingham, Dack and Rigg would share time in that role. He never mentioned Pritch which was telling

Watched highlights off him today, looks a very good player.

Mostly plays LM or CF, when he plays as a CF he makes intelligent runs in behind and js composed when 1vs1 with the GK. When hes LM he looks to beat his opponent on the inside. He looks a very good finisher, will shoot early with either foot

Looking at his stats over last couple seasons, hes very direct, attempts around 5 dribbles a game n completes 60% of this and he has 2.6 shots a game on average

Clarke averaged 6 dribbles a game n 1.99 shots a game for comparison

Looks exactly the type of player we should be signing

Broadhead type? Basically an established Mayenda?

could he push Roberts and Clarke when Ross is back?

His parents need a good slap, at 14 years old he was already at one of the best clubs for him to progress with , as a keeper you'll be really lucky to be starting for a premier league club before your in your early 20s if not later, so why go to a premier league club only to spend the early part of your career at l1 and l2 clubs on loan. Patterson is a prime example of been given the chance, has already been linked with PL clubs and could even be there with us next season, when was the last time any of the top club brought a keeper through to play first team football, they are renowned for buying the top keepers available at the time, his parents could probably be responsible for helping him make the worst decision of his career and he's only 14 ffs

This. It's easy from the outside to question the decision, however, you'd think the kid will have even less of a chance playing in goal. I was say about sloshing around in leauge 1 and 2 out on loan etc. Chelsea arent exactly known for developing.... anyone these day.Alas, good luck the lad.

Life changing money for his family, I suppose. As has been said it’s probably the wrong decision on a football and financial level in the long term. Too much too young for the young lad as well probably. Motivation must be difficult when you feel you’ve already made it.

There’s always exceptions to the rule and I hope Bell proves to be one.

Blimey. Well played the club if so.

Life changing money maybe....but life changing money for him (his family) now....had he stayed with us...emulated Pickford (Patterson potentially)....then your talking life changing money....parents are potentially responsible for wrecking his career....but hey ho they have kade a few quid from there lad....any responsible parent would want to look directly at the route to first team at a good level of the game, look at facilities etc etc.... Chelsea may have the facilities but he could not have chose a worse club to progress with....in the hardest position on the pitch

Hope his parents enjoy there new house & car etc...not a choice id make for my boys given the chance....but id care what they could achieve long term tbf.....if he had stayed & progressed....his parents would have some shxthead agent to get him the best deal pre professional or at some other point so we would not have seen him anyway....might as well be gone now if thats the family attitude....not dor SAFC anymore

At least we potential managed to get a 7 figure fee. Plus we are well stocked with promising young keepers

I'm not as keen to see Pritchard leave as some seem to be. He's a fine player and offers us a lot. Not a regular starter but always capable of helping to change a game. I'd keep him.

Agreed, why say we needs experience in midfield.... then want Pritch gone?

I also don’t think Pritchard counts as midfield… bear with me :D

for me the midfield is the midfield 2 (or 3). Pritchard isn’t that role. He’s the attacking central midfielder. He shouldn’t be playing deeper.

The experience we need is within the midfield two, to supplement Neil and Ekwah. For me they’re actually our only two options for those two positions. I don’t think Jobe or Rigg are ready to be trusted in a midfield two yet, hence moving to a midfield three if either of them are playing.

Was discussing with @scout 73 that we may actually bring 2 cm in
