... I'd guess the public are already bored with the 'fairytale'.
Its not even that bad, yeah it was mistimed but you can see it’s not deliberate.
Parkinson’s comments, although in the heat of the moment, are ridiculous and will just result in Bishop getting abuse. He should be spoken to by the EFL for that interview.

I’ve just watched a few videos of Vente and here are some thoughts:
- Times his runs well
- Always looking to get played in behind
- Fox in the box instincts
- Composed finisher
- Sets up a few goals. Good awareness, decision making and unselfishness
- Good enough worker for our pressing game? Don’t know
- Some poor goalkeeping for some goals but he was clever enough to spot poor positioning and take advantage
- Decent in the air, though won’t have a big impact on set pieces at either end
- Promising as a youngster but not quite hit the heights. Sounds like the type of player we could go for

He won’t see the season out, his dour football won’t keep his owners and new found disney fan base entertained enough
Terrible challenge that imo. Watched it few times and struggle to see why a few are playing it down. The striker is watching the ball and coming in side on as he is only showing interest in getting a flick on the ball. Bishop however, is watching the striker and knows he is going to clatter him so leads with his shoulder/forearm straight into the strikers fully exposed ribs.
I'm pretty sure we would be fuming if one of ours got injured in a similar incident.
Looking at that I'd say the keeper was just as likely to be injured and it was a split second lapse in judgement ...
... football is a contact sport as Sunderland know only too well.
