Rubberface on RTG reckons a prem club and championship clubs in for Luke O'Nien and hes unhappy with the terms weve offered him to stay.

I can absolutely 100% see Luke O'Nien going to Luton this window. It's very local for him. I know he has a north-east lass and kids tho.

I want to keep him but I wouldn't stand in his way of a Premier League chance considering his age and where he's come from career-wise.

For the right fee of course.

He's a really hard one to put a value on tho

Listen, we all love Luke. Absolute legend of a lad and has been great for us.

He isn’t going to be a player that’s a shoe in for games, if everyone is fit.

Delighted if he stays but if he has a shot at PL, and he fancies it, he would go with the best wishes ever imaginable, the team would be ok.

Im sure his persona would be the bigger loss around the club. That’s the part to be considered for sure.

There’s 7-10 players I’d be more worried about losing from a pure football perspective.

I don't think anyone is in a position to know how happy or not a player is with terms, used to be the case maybe but not anymore.

I could see him leaving if he doesn't feel he's going to get on the pitch enough which would be a massive shame but understandable.

Aye that’s the crux. Age he is at he wants to play, victim of his own versatility he’s solid anywhere we put him which is immense credit to him, but we have a better player or 2 that specialises in each spot. If we are fully fit he isn’t starting games.

He’s such an asset in other ways.

I think he’s find a premier league offer very difficult to turn down, even if he was/is loving it here.

For sure.

The lad deserves a crack at PL for his attitude alone, if he’s struggling for a game all being equal here now he’s no chance if we get to PL and improve.

For a Luton or even a few a bit higher up he’s be a really solid player.
