He seems the kind of positive character who's going to act like that in every circumstance and environment he's in.

But anyway - I don't think there's any question as to whether he wants to leave. The question will be purely around whether he has a potential only ever chance to play in the Premier League.

The likes of Ballard, Neil, Clarke - they can all be confident they will play there either for us or somebody else. I don't think O'Nien can be as confident. His window of opportunity to get in the Premier League basically comes down to getting there with us, or going to a club like Luton who will find him an attractive proposition, more so than most premier league clubs would.
Wouldn’t begrudge him taking the chance if presented like, very short career

Wright gone.

Good servant and nice memories. Nice to see him leave without hanging around like dead wood as well. We have been good at that lately.

He was an absolutely terrific signing. Excellent for us in League one, a great pro and a great influence to have around for our younger players.

Good luck to him.

Rubberface on RTG reckons a prem club and championship clubs in for Luke O'Nien and hes unhappy with the terms weve offered him to stay.

He's worth more to us than anyone would be willing to pay. I'd rather let him go on a free than accept a 6 figure fee this summer.

I'd rather offer him a job for life than lose him at all mind.

With BW, good decision to move on. Got both parties. On a big wage from the legacy league one and correct timing.

Top geezer and his Shef Wed warrior display won't be forgotten from me.

Me neither and as a player I wasn’t his biggest fan, cracking bloke by all accounts and never shirked a challenge but he set the tone that night when he flattened Callum Patterson I think it was in the opening couple of minutes and we never looked back.
Also played in the playoff final when he’d been unwell for a few days before the final.
Good servant and wish him nothing but the best in his future.
