I do think Clarke will end up going. Just a gut feeling. But I’m pleased to see we are turning bids down.

When do we think the last time our club turned a £10m+ bid down? I’d guess Kone.

So if Bass goes to Orient we can stop the lazy “Nixon knows nowt” thing about everything he posts. He very clearly doesn’t know nowt. When he states specifics he’s got a very good record. It’s his cryptic ****e that can be ignored.
Sorry Alan

Remember the Kone thing. Was daft. Should have went got the big money. He was promised he would be allowed to go if it come and we went back on it at the time.

That was the end of that.

Burnley have just had a 15m bid turned down for Zian Flemming from Millwall. Clarke is a much better player than him and to offer 5m less than they have for Flemming is a pish take.
Spurs paid more than 10m for him, and hes a Much better player now with much more experience behind him.

Clarke shows the model works. If he goes, let's say 15m, it probably covers the vast majority of player investment made since KLD took over. Only need to sell 1 or 2 a season and hopefully start turning regular profit.

Dutch lads interview was interesting. Sold as a 2-3 year project to reach prem.

I know he scored a decent amount of goals but Fleming didn’t particularly impress me in any game I watched last season.

Embarrassing if the figures are correct.

Burnley can **** off with the derisory bids

£7m was laughable. £10m is insulting.

He went for £10m as an untested teenager 5 years ago before market inflation.

Double it and we can maybe begin negotiations

It’s proper annoyed me, it’s like they are suggesting he’s a worse player than when Spurs bought him.

Hope the club continue to tell them to **** off.

Pleased to see bids being turned down? Tbf there would be outrage if they accepted any of those bids. See if they turn 15 down inc add ons. We should accept nowt less than 20 imo.

Keane Lewis-Potter signed for Brentford for £20million. He played 46 scored 12 and had 3 assists. £20million should be the starting bid and go up from there lads. £10million ffs <laugh> clubs need to start realising they're not dealing with Short, Bain, Byrne or the chuckle brothers anymore.

Plus he's got 3 years left on his contract

£20m is the minimum I'd sell for, especially when we'll probably have to give 25-45% of that to Spurs
Having said that, I wouldn't sell him this summer and I don't think he'd want to go either

I don't think he'll go anywhere either. Why sign for Brentford or Crystal Palace and be in a relegation battle, not guaranteed a game or stay here, win the league and play every week
