Anderson is one I don’t see developing unfortunately but if we can get him on loan and get a fee for him when he’s back that’s good business too, at 22 you’d think he’d have filled out abit more, happy to be proven wrong though
Anderson will be one of these cbs that suits a lcb position in a back 3 imo.

You dont need to be as physical if you have 2 cbs alongside you. A loan move is huge for him as you can see hes technically very tidy just needs to learn how to become a cb at senior level

One thing that's not been mentioned, and I wouldn't want to see it, but Luke O'Nien could go.

The club might see him as being at the optimum point in his trajectory to maximise the fee we could get for him.

My last call was that alese was **** in fairness to him so he’s probably got every chance of a good career :emoticon-0102-bigsm

I don’t think they’d be that naive.

I’ve stated my opinion on his footballing ability plenty before so I’ll not get into it again but regardless of what I think on that matter he can play so many positions he’s important to have on the bench. And as mentioned before he’s the ultimate professional. Important to have players like that around the younger lads.

O'Nien is one of the most important players in the squad. He doesn't need to have a "position". He will go wherever we need him to. The chances of ever having 1-11 fit is nigh on never.
Him on the bench covers so many defensive/midfield options it allows more use of the other substitutes to more offensive players.

some tall lads have been signed and none of them 'look that tall'...many lads hitting the tall edge of 5 foot and over 6 foot tend to look 'leggy and skinny' yet these lads look well built, able to cope with that extra height.

i know that sounds wrong but take crouch for one, always looked ready to snap in a tackle, these lads look like the ones to do the snapping...less being bullied this season i reckon.

I'm 6'3 and 17 stone, not fat, just broad. Because of that combination, ive been told from people that they don't realise my height until "up close".

TheBronzeBummer on RTG hinted at the Jenson Seelts one yesterday by saying a centre back was coming in and then said maybe we need some Dutch courage.

He's now dug out the Stefan Johansen thread saying "experienced CDM this guy?"

?....
That the guy who has been released from QPR? Our mate @Prehab26 did say we are trying for an experienced deep lying midfielder

O9 is fine cm for the odd game but he isnt great with his back to play. Hes much more effective when the game is in front of him like it is at cb

Agree he is great to have around the place n might be our most important player off the pitch - great link between the older players like baath evans pritchard n the younger lads
100% this. In a midfield 2 he doesnt have the awareness for me. I think he is a hell of a good centre back personally. Up to these new lads to get ahead of him.

They are all long enough to be continued.
