The lad whos told me, has been spot on the last 2 windows about incomings, no reason to doubt him. We can but dream

I was saying on here yesterday, would be an utterly perfect signing and massively boost the young talent.

I’d be borderline emotional to see the lad back, have watched his entire career with immense pride, lad has been a credit to us all on and off the park.

I’d be overjoyed to see him back.

Same here.

Mind you, my gut feeling is there are some surprises coming this summer recruitment wise which will make us a bigger threat in this league.

Personally hoping one of them is Miles Leaburn, he looks a hell of a prospect

Couldn’t think of anyone better for Neil, Ekwah and jobe to learn from than Henderson, would be an unbelievable bit of business if we did somehow pull it off but I just can’t see it while he’s still and England regular with the euros coming up

Good post marra....it's perhaps a season too early, which given his age, might rule it out altogether.

I thought that was what Aravena was for but that one seems to have gone quiet...
Wonder if this other lad were watching in Portugal might be the alter
Anyone heard the rumours that we are / have been discussing a possible move for Hendo? Lad I get the odd bit of info from is adamant we have been talking to Hendo and his dad for months about a return
Aye since April apparently. However I don't think it'll happen until at least after the euros next summer.

It was mentioned to me back in February, but as others have said, the Euros complicate things. Would be a hell of a coup if it came off though

He’s a fit lad Jordan even if it’s a year on he’d still have plenty in the tank.

He’s looked after himself look at Milner signing a 2 year deal in the PL.

This year would be stunning but if it’s next year we’d still be delighted.

Especially if his deal includes an intention of a coaching contract after.

Realistically Henderson would get more minutes here than he would at Liverpool. I know playing less for Liverpool is better for his England chances than playing nearly every minute at Championship level, but it shouldn't they at least should be on par!

Also worth considering that Southgate doesnt seem as obsessed with players from the big 6, palace had 2? I don't think Southgate would be worried if Hendo dropped down a league but played lots (which he would here).

Guess a lot will depend on who Liverpool buy this summer as Hendo's game time could end up being very limited

This whole conversation started because you said the offer had been taken off the table. Now you're admitting you don't know. I think I'll end this hypothetical there.
You stated that you don't think the offer has been taken off the table, I was replying to that statement saying if the offer was still on the table and has always been then there's no chance of him signing a new contract.
I'm not suggesting that it's still on the table, just that if your opinion is it is then you should give up any hope of him signing

Unles he's willing to sacrifice around 90K per week in wages it isn't going to happen, lunacy to suggest it would.
