Playing devils advocate here but Ballard played about 15 games last season. As good as I think he is and how important he’ll be next season, how much of an impression do you make as a championship centre back in that little game time?

Surridge highly rated but every time I've seen him he's been absolutely useless. Admittedly that isn't lots. So he must have something about him, I just don't see it.
Never watched Forest on the telly, only time I catch any football that isn't SAFC is if I walk in someone house and they have it on. As a result I have no idea about anyone and rely on what people say on here but one thing that different with this recruitment team there seems to be less mistakes made with signings.
It's inevitable that some won't work out but for the most part they are doing a great job, biggest thing is the change in personality they are bringing in, gone are the days of signing lads just happy picking up their pay cheque, buying sports cars and huge bottles of champagne on holiday!
