Sounds like we're getting the **** end of this deal. Cannon is very much an unknown prospect.

Of the three strikers Cannon is the least tried and tested, but aren't all transfers,a bit of a gamble?

As it stands, Sunderland will only green light Stewart to Southampton if we get Cannon. Southampton can't have it all ways.

I think the club are playing a blinder.

This. I can’t be sure that this coming season Cannon will be as good for us as Stewart had been before his injury but Cannon is playing championship football at 19 and had a good return for a poor team. Stewart was playing against semi-pro teams at that age. The lad has hit the ground running and looks the real deal to me I think he’d flourish here.
and it will take the lowest in the chain letting our player go for it all to start moving, ironically enough.
