Wouldn't know mate, never heard of Haji Wright.
I'd have had Simms back here but not for £8 million
he’s the lad who came on for Simms today

Simms getting a lot of criticism from Coventry fans writing him off.

If that's Rusyn then I'm hopeful it's done and waiting for international clearance.
I'm relaxed as they won't leave us short upfront again
Trouble is it appears that's about an average rate for a striker. I thought fees would come down but this summer has seen some crazy feesI'd agree with that, good player or good goalscorer at any rate, but not for that price. Would be if his all round game was better but I don't see it improving much.

But they come with a bedding in period, although I have a feeling Rusyn would hit the ground running as he's a bit more experienced.Aye you can see why we're digging around abroad for hidden gems, seems to be significantly better value doing that.
Nobody can be certain mate. Not until that medical is past. We can only ever be confident, but have to accept late changes happen.serious question...
how can the head coach, who isn't responsible for transfer dealings, be 'sure' we will sign a striker?
kristjaan speakman can't even be certain right now.
are they trying really hard to make it happen? undoubtedly.
Sunderland manager Tony Mowbray told BBC Radio Newcastle:
"I'd probably have been pleased with a point and a clean sheet beforehand but the game panned out a little bit different than I thought.
"I thought we'd come and dominate possession like we did last year but they were good first half with the ball, picked us off and pushed us back.
"We readjusted a few things and I thought we were better second half. We got in some good positions but the final ball wasn't there.
"We're always disappointed when we don't score. We don't have a killer number nine and I'm not sure we will by the end of the window - they are not falling off trees are they?"
exactly. not surprised there is mad hysteria though on social media. he isn't the one dealing with incoming of course he isn't sureNobody can be certain mate. Not until that medical is past. We can only ever be confident, but have to accept late changes happen.

Tone? Yeah because he is trying to not be too open about the situation. Sometimes it slips. But it comes across as all over the place.
Shows how much of an impact he had
I watch a lot of football, but don't pay much attention unless they are linked or sign for us
Again, unless he linked to us or signed for us, he's just a player on the TV to me.He was the main striker for U.S.A in the world cup.
It's not Simms fault he's cost that fee. He's probably an adequate championship player and would have been decent for us this season but anyone with even a hint of pedigree at this level or above is costing a packet. He would walk into our team and make us stronger at minute but it's a 46 game season and we could have Roscoe back in 3 or 4 games and another striker with bags of potential this time next week.Personally quite glad we didn’t spend that fee on him. The market for anyone with a goal scoring record in the championship is nuts. Although Robins helped Gyokeres to develop over the past two years, so good luck to the lad.
I’d imagine an experienced manager will always struggle with it and the other option is an inexperienced one so what’s going to change ?Yeah. He will be. Especially as he doesn't have a say. That's always the issue with experienced managers with such a model. Must keep them awake at night.
As did I mate and to learn from someone that hears things that deadline day we where waiting on Everton and had no plan b was a kick in the nuts.
This time I have no itk people so I have to assume and believe we have learned lessons and it will be good
