Well that's your opinion, and God bless you, those that know, know,
If you Know, as you claim, then it shouldn't be too hard to name a player that's incoming nrfore they have joined the club.? If you know
Change of tact from Tony today, wasn’t so long ago it was a couple of forwards close from abroad on permanents, now seems pretty resigned to loans on deadline day. Speakman not covering himself in glory with the whole ‘immediate opportunities in the market’ comment from the Lihadji sale as it stands either.
The back pedalling was pretty obvious from Uncle Tony....A definite change in the record.

I don't think there is any talk of being chased out. Their is a long term vision to transform safc and it's holdings.

However, I do think we absolutely need to have more flex in the model for us to compete and harbor ambitions of promotion.
Yep flexibility n adaptability is key, theyll never stray to far away from the model, and i think most of us will be happy with that but agree that there needs to be flexibility

I found when i started coaching n scouting i lacked any flexibility, i had my idea on how to coach or scout a player n that was it. If i stuck to that thought process i wouldnt have got anywhere.

You learn as you go along and im sure (hoping) that speakman n co are doing the same

Mistakes will always happen, as long as we learn from them. I get folk saying we havent learned from them by not signing a striker yet (an experienced one as folk have asked for) but i know its not as simple as that. The transfer market for all teams, except the big teams plus saudi sides, have been so tough. My team finally signed a LB this week after being in discussion with him n his club since April!!

If its a loan signing we get then thats fine, as long as no stupid recall option in January, as long as its the right player that improves us

Im at the game on Saturday so still buzzing to see the lads play, always a good sign when you still have that buzz

Don’t try make the three defeats out on a lack of striker pal we have been the better team in prity much all games but when a ball hits of the attackers ass and goes in do you think a premier league striker is gona effect that?. We’ve lost a couple games just like the start of last season ffs. Steady on.
I don’t agree on this. I think the right striker moves to the right place and makes the option clear. I’d say that’s exactly the reason we didn’t make those chances pay.

Surely we sign a striker that's maybe not our ideal, but hard working decent character rather than waiting for perfection?
If you need a car you might love a Ferrari but you still need a car, so have to bite the bullet and buy a VW instead to get to work and back :emoticon-0102-bigsm

not yet but it's coming .i've seen a lot more post this season already after a couple of games then i have the last 2 seasons and it might only be a few but the problem is negativity spreads like wildfire

Yeah me too. Me and the boyo.

Not transfer related so apologies for blocking up the thread, but I don’t get to go to games anywhere near as often as I’d like these days, I’m there this week, a rare day out with my dad, few drinks and getting behind whatever 11 we put out is what it’s all about, let’s just support those that are here and not worry about who may or may not be coming in, focus on what we can control, good atmosphere still a very good team here, 3 point’s Saturday and this place will be buzzing again just like the bulk of last season
