Im relaxed about the Stewart contract situation, personally I’ve accepted that he’s probably not going to sign so not worried about it. Think he’s the type of character that will still give his all anyway.

We do still need another striker however and the friendly matches have shown that.

I'm sure some supporters believe they've identified an area the club has missed.

Let's all, for the first time in decades, chill out and just enjoy the football and the style of play.

I'm absolutely f*cking exhausted with contract lengths, wage limits and models ...

... in the eternal words of Mrs Smug, "It's just a football match" <laugh>

In the Frigan thread on RTG people where making Rigg and Frig chants

Now I've read it again the lad saying Thom Haye is on the Way... today was just doing the same and its been jumped on...

Why the **** does everything they do need to have the word toon in it? We get it, they sound like dopey cartoon whales when they shout / chant it.

Anyway I digress, seems a decent player.

because their team is called "Newcastle Town".... oh wait, its not. Makes absolutely no sense at all.

Because they’re a bunch of ****ing gimps who over-exaggerate everything. I grew up in Washington and the amount of mags there now is unbearable. Scruffy c*nts wear their colours to go out to restaurants man. Sam Fender pretending he likes football to get all the pretendy geordies to fill out SJP is a genius marketing move. All practising their best accent on the journey into the toon :emoticon-0102-bigsm

I get the train to Edinburgh then Newcastle and the SOL for home games which is fine. The return leg is horrendous ...

... loads of shirt clad Mags who've been to Newcastle to practice their accents and watch their away game on TV.

At first I'd try to engage with them but, whenever they were backed into a corner, they'd just start shouting 'TOON TOON TOON' at me.

Now I just cover my colours, stick the earphones on and put RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE' on as loud as possible <laugh>

I work with a few lads who are good lads to be fair, both season ticket holders from Newcastle and go to most of their away games. I’ll take ****e from them I’m just not taking it from from some clown from Houghton who wears his colours to sit in the wild boar pretending he’s middle class cos he’s apparently not from Sunderland :emoticon-0102-bigsm

I don’t do social media now even though I’m only late twenties and it’s the best thing I ever done coming off it. Couldn’t help myself and got goaded far too easily, to the point when I got that agitated I was ready to drive to a blokes house in Walker. Twitter was the worst for it, loads of them uploading pictures of their “cans” around the time of the takeover, from a manky house with a 90in Blaupunkt TV that’s bigger than the living room window, but apparently they’re still all better than us folk from Sunderland.

Reet I can get back to me beer now that I’ve had my rant :emoticon-0102-bigsm

They believe that the Saudis being rich means they're personally more wealthy ....

... they really do, it's mental.

I think it's just a massive risk. I mean DB hasn't show us that he is a liability or a concern. The opposite. An absolute rock who is a top pro and lives the right way. Very good leader to help the younger lads too. Sets the tone in training and match day squads.

He is only 32, not 52 ffs. I am struggling to work out why we would be happy for him to move on, all over a possible 12 month extension.

Brave call.
Have the club now offered him a contract? Couple of people mentioned it.

My son goes to Fender’s old school and his PE teacher confirmed that he (Fender) had zero interest in football when he was there. He’s clearly another curry favouring celebrity”toon” fan desperate for likes

I wont listen to any Sam Fender music because of his connection to the scum. Not sure if thats taking it too far. I quite like the Gallagher brothers and they have a strong connection to Man City.
I’m the same mate. Can’t help it. Won’t even play my son’s guitar anymore

heard we are after a young french striker no name, apparently a little lad who can also play on the wing,

sorry it's not much
Played golf earlier with a mate who is involved in the agency side of the world. He doesnt have anything ongoing with us but did say our french connections are really solid because I remember this post. No big news there I suppose. He did say we are much more likely to look at overseas markets for perm signings and uk for loan because, in his words, uk young lads are way over priced and our recruitment arent stupid. He also beat me on the course and I owe him a decent bottle of red!
