Id still go for Hume but huggins gives us a different option which is nice.He will be the best full back at the club if he's fit, I love Hume but I think huggins is different class, would possibly let Hume move into the evans role

Covering both sides too which is even nicer.Id still go for Hume but huggins gives us a different option which is nice.
If it is true with Batth wanting to go for personal reasons, I'd listen to offers in January. Give us half a season to bed in the new recruits. Personally I'd like him to get a new contract and stay, I love the bloke and I think is is a solid lad and the hearbeat of the team!!I think Baath is the best defender at the club personally. Would be a shame if he went and would leave a gap in my opinion. Ballard and ONien might be a good pairing. Alese next in line then we would have to see how Triantis adapts, the standard he has been used to hasnt been strong. Huggins if fit might allow Hume to go inside? Hey ho, I have talked myself into it, we have enough after all.

He seems to naturally drift into central areas too wouldn’t be against trying him there pre season and seeing how he got on if Huggins is over his injuriesI think Hume has the right temperament for the Evans role ...
... plus he tackles, heads, passes and runs for 90 minutes.
What do you think Scout73
I think we saw Hume drift into cm last season to good effectI think Hume has the right temperament for the Evans role ...

Don't see how a loan move could benefit bennette. The issue last season was the language barrier, I'd like to think that would be sorted by now.Clarke, Stewart and Roberts all out on loan to Ipswich
I reckon Matete (loan or perm), Anderson and possibly someone like Bennette or Taylor out on loan. Can see a couple of the u23/u21 going out too like Gardiner.

Aye, forgot about him! I reckon you are right as well about how high the pecking order he might be. Time will tell, but my eldest lad watches a lot of european footy and he says he has looked good. You didn't even mention Seelt - he's 6 ft 3, played 65 times in the Dutch second division and has played for PSV and been on their bench several times, despite only being 20. He's a ball playing defender and might be closer to the first team than both Triantis and Alese in my opinion.
And would you believe it, Seelt is injuredYou didn't even mention Seelt - he's 6 ft 3, played 65 times in the Dutch second division and has played for PSV and been on their bench several times, despite only being 20. We can name 9 subs now, I'd have thought Bennette would be one of those, a sub for Clarke
Do we know the type of injury? How bad it is etc?And would you believe it, Seelt is injured![]()
Tweaked his little toe, hopefully.Do we know the type of injury? How bad it is etc?
Should be fully training back end of pre season, Mowbray mentioned it hereDo we know the type of injury? How bad it is etc?
Should be fully training back end of pre season, Mowbray mentioned it hereYou must log in or register to see mediaI also love the way he bigs up the young lads, mentions something they need to work on then mentions 3 or 4 things they’re good at, such a good man manager

Always happy to be proven wrong when I write people off haha, I had alese down as ‘****ing useless’ at the start of the seasonIf there's a humble pie shop in Sunderland they'll be raking it in ...
... I'd be going for second helpings, totally misjudged Mowbray and Alex Neil![]()
The only red flag with huggims record is fitness and like I said if he stays fit he will be the best full back at the club. What are you basing this on? Have you seen a lot of him specifically at youth levels? He's 22 and hasn't managed 10 professional games yet. Hume and Cirkin are streets ahead of him at present. There are massive red flags with Huggins and that record.
Are you able to elaborate at all mate?Been with a couple of coaches from Birmingham today. It is fair to say they think Jobe has plenty going for him.
