Personally I reckon they’ll be fighting for 4th, I think city and arse again, then Utd, Chelsea Liverpool and the scum for 3 and 4

With Pocc and if the streamline that squad I’d say man for man they easily 2nd.

City are weaker without Gundogan and possibly Silva as well.

They be interesting to watch for sure. Still need a striker mind, I know can play Nkunku there but he’s best as a 10.

Main problem for them is they’ve got no heart, just like arsenal last year at the pointy end of the season their arses will just go. City are like porn stars they just go and go, and pop at exactly the right time.

I'm not sure Arsenal will be up there competing again, think they blew their chance last year personally. It will be city way out in front then 5 or 6 teams battling for the other 3 places. Villa could be surprise contenders too, imo.

Yes, but, it's us playing silly buggers on his wages, and length of contract.
Plus till he proves he is totally fit and no new reaction its gonna be a wait and see, the fact he was back early in training shows he has some commitment

But to which club ...

... the one who's paying him or the one he's trying to impress.

That's the question.

Aye I still think City we’ll clear, exactly as you say, mentality under Pep is unmatched.

Arsenal Partey out Rice in puts them closer though, just feel they need more at CB and a major second striker. Havertz gives them an option but he’s so on or off it’s crazy that lad.

Massive transition for Chelsea for sure but Pocc is absolutely a top gaffer and he builds sides. Look at Spurs decline since he’s gone he knits things together, more so look at the side he put together at Southampton.

United could still have a major season but they need this takeover sorted one way or other as they are stuck as it stands, Liverpool haven’t done enough either. Both should be all over Caicedo.

That’s your top 4 though, Spurs, Mags can’t match them 4 and Brighton is too many games now for them.

For me Poch will sort them out. He’s managed big personalities before, Potter hasn’t and Lampard is still inexperienced. They’ll definitely sign a few more big names once the exodus is done. No European football, essentially being able to field their best team every PL game.

I think Arsenal will fall away a bit. City, Liverpool and Chelsea front runners.

100%. great player at the wrong club. He’d be immense at Arsenal or Liverpool.

Easily a top PL player in the right team and setup.

He was Chelsea's best player at the time he got his injury. Outstanding.

Arsenal are going to use Havertz in midfield apparently. Should be interesting with Odegaard already in there.

Good question
My opinion is that he’s had interest, the club are hedging their bets (which is entirely understandable) and any watching clubs would hedge their bets and not want to give the going rate for a player coming back from a serious injury (albeit a great striker who is useful all over the pitch!)

At the end of the day though I don’t think another club will pay the going rate until he’s proved his fitness again this season.

We will probably see a years extension on top of this one (which will be great) and then go from there.

Mags won’t get top 4 next season imo.

If they keep signing players of Tonali quality they absolutely will be up there. They lucked into top 4 last season with several big teams having a terrible years and it's pushed their progress forward about 5 years.

The hardest part for these mega rich clubs is always reaching top 4 for the first time. Before that, they can have all the money in the world to spend but top players won't come without Champions League football. Now they have that (plus effectively infinite money) I don't see them dropping out again.

Aye I don’t think the lad has enough about him for their development.

He’s got ability there’s no doubt, but he gets bullied and he’s 6 3.

He isn’t anywhere near Odegaard level, and if they drop Odegaard deeper to accommodate him that weakens them for me.

Unless they planning on going wild, Rice sitting and Odegaard & Havertz pushing on, be Hollywood to watch but they’d get torn apart on the break.

I personally disagree that they will fall off mind think there’s proper foundations there, their issue isn’t gonna be falling off more Chelsea and Liverpool being stronger. Impossible to comment on United right now.

If United takeover happens they will catch City in 2-3 years, doesn’t matter what City do all thing being equal players would go United over City. Just history and fact. United with this takeover would go back alongside Madrid as the biggest clubs in world.

Don’t seem to be happening though.
