these saudi links...

buying two or three players from some clubs adds to their turnover meaning more to spend within the rules, with modern transfer fees being what they are, a couple of even moderate players sold can add 100 million boost to spending power.

basically, it stinks!!
I'm just waiting on them signing 3 world class players for say £60 million each then sending out to the stinking mags on loan with them only having to pay a fraction of their wags, so potentially they could have £180 million worth of players that cost them nothing and are only paying the 10 grand a week, that way the Saudis have spent hundreds of millions on transfers and wages yet the mags only she'll out 30 grand a week still giving them plenty cash to invest in more transfers and be well within the fair play rules, I'm sure the Premier league would try to do something to stop it but basically I'm sure they wouldn't be breaking any rules

He’s young enough to develop his game too, he’s only 22
I can't see us having 3 out and out forwards next season. I still think the 3rd striker would be able to fill a few roles across the forward line, like the young French U21 we've been linked with.

I think if we did get Simms it wouldn't be a fee anywhere near what's reported at least not up front, I'm all for signing him personally think he's a good player who will only improve

Havertz to Arsenal for £65m.

Said weeks ago I think Chelsea will be up there with City this season if they get Poch or Nagellsman. Now they have a bucketload of coin to spend it could be interesting.
