Not good.

Fair play to Morison, he's not hanging about.
Just need his signings to be comparable to his January business.

Hope he's getting pre-season started early. A lot of new faces to bed in.

Not quite like DJ in signing a player the day before the first game of the season and starting him.
This rebuild won't be as extreme as DJs begging, stealing and borrowing, but it'll run it a close second.

New left back. Not seen this anywhere else so has Wol got in first with a scoop? Very rare event................

Just reading that.
Seems we've been scouting him for a while and doing background checks.
Seems a thorough process from Morison.
Time will tell, but he's acting decisively.

4 down, 17 to go.<cheers>

Edit: also, credit to the board for supporting the swift action.

Big weekend coming up for the "undecided" players at City..........

"English Football League (EFL) rules state the clubs must tell players their final decisions by the third Saturday in May, which falls this weekend.

The EFL must be informed by the same date."

Fair play to Morison, he’s getting the business done early. I remember him saying that he had all or most of his targets lined up before the end of the season and he is fulfilling that. Hope he gets the rest of the new players in soon and gets the team working together.

To be honest this is the first time I’ve been a bit excited about a close season for a very long time and I’m already looking forward to the new campaign. Morison for me can talk the talk but the jury is still out on his management ability. I sincerely hope he gets us playing better football and we go on to better things next year, albeit with the financial restraints we have to accept.

Of course it could all go tits up but time will tell and I can’t wait for the first game of the new season.

I honestly think it's either going to be highly exciting, as we witness pretty much a whole new squad knit together and try play a more expensive style of football....

Or......

It will be a complete car crash of a season as things don't work out and we struggle to change direction.

I really don't think there will be much middle ground this time around and certainly no damp squib of a season....

Fun times ahead!!

The extent of the rebuild needed shows the importance of getting new guys in early.

Short summer break then hit the ground early for pre-season training and matches.

Building the new signings and remaining players into a cohesive team unit will be a big ask but Morison has shown he is up for it and will give it a real go.

Those staying to be revealed shortly.

How will we cope with 2 J Collins on the team list? Hopefully the forward one will be elsewhere shortly.

I'm really excited. Morison is starting something at the club which is long overdue. Actually, I think talking the talk is, for the moment, one of his weak areas but I'm not at all bothered by that. He's certainly doesn't seem to be putting off recruits with his style. So for me, he's walking the walk in the right direction and I hope he's the one that sees it come to fruition.

Thank you for those sage words Sparks. Watched on my phone, smallish screen and I have an eye problem at present restricting my vision. Sympathy not expected. <whistle>

I'll give you that one Bluey. I would have offered to lend you my specs, but having lost them last week for a short while, I know what it's like to be without.

One thing I will say though - as long as you don't have a Japanese eye problem restricting your performance, you can live with it. <ok>
