That's quite a heartwarming read and as you say it paints an excellent picture of the club. I'm sure we can give Ollie the platform to flourish.

It sure is, very happy with the incoming players so far, still thing there could be one or two big signing and I don't mean Bale & Rambo.
I feel there will be one or two 'names' that might involve a fee. They are likely to be later in the window though.
Like you, I think there is potential in the signings to date.
Apparently he cost us £50k in compensation.
Another who went through the Arsenal academy. They do seem to produce, and discard, some good youngsters.
If that's right (£50k) and he lives up to his former managers hype then we could have bagged an absolute bargain!
Even if it doesn't really work out then it's still a relatively small gamble (though wages would also be a consideration too).
I can see comparisons being made between Josh Murphy and young Ollie.... Hopefully chalk and cheese all round!

Some big highs and similar lows but can never be accused of not trying his hardest. Soul on sleeve type of guy.

Clubs must notify players as to whether or not they are being retained by the third Saturday of May, so midnight tonight. The EFL then publishes the list by the second Saturday in June, which falls on June 11th this year. Talk about a drawn out process

Rumours abound again about Derby keeper Ryan Allsopp being in talks with us.
Last I saw was that he was keen to stay up there??
Can only assume money is an issue to Derby keeping hold of him.
Would put Phillips place in serious doubt.

Not sure Allsopp is any better than Phillips unless like Alnwick his distribution is much improved.
Looks like we want to extend the contract of the youngster who was on the bench at the end of the season so if we are serious about Allsopp then Phillips is on his bike.
A bonus of Leeds’ escape is maybe Drameh will be back?
