John Job Ayo Akinde, now there's a thought although he did have his little spell with us back in 2010 before heading off to The Daggers. We should still see him this year though playing for The Imps so we shall just have to be mindful of our tackles anywhere in and close to the box !

John 'Penalty' Akinde! Surely he must have a record for winning the most penalties and scoring the most penalties!

According to Bristol Rovers on twitter JCH is on the verge of signing for the Posh and Kyle Bennett is on his way to Leeds
Joe Day has signed for Cardiff

That's what it said yesterday and today
Stefan Payne has left Rovers his contract was terminated by mutual consent apparently he has signed for Tranmere

Stranger things have happened, I still wonder in amazement to this day how ' Whoosher' got his Anfield gig ! ?

Good to see Payne gone, would never of worked out for him at The Rovers.

Apparently we are going to sign Liam Scale from University College Dublin when we are over there on the training week. Liam is CD, DMF, CMF

I think I read that he had a trial with Man City earlier this year but it didn't work for him. If he can pass a ball to a team mate wearing the same colour shirt as he is he will be welcome whatever nationality he is

There must be a few Irish players who GC can persuade to come over. Can't be a bad thing. Michael Smith and Rory Gaffney did ok.
