I am a fan of Henderson and have trust that his ability will develop. The boy is apparently very skillful and has great amounts of ball control so technically we know if he develops this he will be a strong midfield player.

However a defensive midfielder he is not; putting him in a defensive position where he would do a questionable job is a waste. Lets develop his technical skills :emoticon-0103-cool:.
 
I think Henderson is a player BR will like, he is confident on the ball and young. If we actually do play football the way BR want then he will be even better with movement and support of other players.
 
rodgers has the u19 england captain and u21 england captains at his club... you can't ask form more than that.

Forget henderson's fee.... he's got the attitude, he's got the physique and athleticism and he's got skills... rodgers simply must bring him through in the midfield 3.

henderson lucas and gerrard in the midfield 3 for me.....

sterling suso and suarez up front <laugh>

It'd be amazingly lucky to think we could play that like utd in 1995 and win the league

So that is Kuyt and Maxi gone. Carroll, Cole and who knows maybe leaving as well. When we said 3-4 new signings...does that mean replacements? or will we be looking at extra signings with sales?

btw, with T. Silva joining PSG, where does that leave Lugano, Alex, or Sakho? Surely it must be Silva and Sakho with the older boys off the bench? I really rate Lugano but that is not an area we need that much help with at the moment.

Appears to be a revolution rather than evolution.

Rodgers is keen to get rid of the older, highly paid players so I can see sense in getting rid of Maxi, Kuyt and Bellamy.

I still expect to see Cole stay although I wouldn't be bothered if he left, and hopefully we can keep Aqua.

So who will be in by the end of the week? Borini or Dempsey or both?

Who will be the spanner thrown in? Kuba? Vargas? Ramirez? Neymar?

I can see Borini and Dempsey sorted soon, however the Dempsey transfer could be slightly more complicated as Fulham are interested in Carroll and in doing an exchange.
