I have no issue with this.
Can I ask if Chunk was banned? Obviously Prehab massively crossed the line, but prior to this Chunk was calling him 'arsehole', 'cock' etc because he disagreed with his opinion. It wasnt the first time or thread this has happened either, if I remember correctly, Prehab actually asked for moderation on it a couple of weeks ago before the **** show escalated last Saturday.
No issues with Prehab being banned, I agree with that decision and I think he would accept that, but consistency is needed imo and thats without discussing Madmackems bizarre ban.
Edit - I've actually debated and and agreed with Chunks before on here and I dont want him banned, but wanted clarity on where the line is here.
And why were they banned?
I understand fully why bringing folks family and threats would result in a ban, but nobody should be banned for a footy disagreement or a ‘man to man’ disagreement.
We all adults, most of us have had back and forth on here on occasion it’s part and parcel.
Me and my pals will argue before, during and after games as well, it’s absolutely normal that’s how the world works.
I've no idea what anyone was banned for, it's f*ck all to do with me mate.
I post stuff, on the forum, and respond whichever way I think is appropriate.
If I think people are out of order I say so just as they do with me.,
I only ever respond in kind, if people can't cope with that it's just too bad I'm afraid.
Yeah both mad, smug and JH had as far as I could tell had moved on and it was another argument that was maybe not "resolved" but wasn't exactly a big deal.
Just feels like the mod action has escalated it more than was needed.

No chunk wasn’t banned. It’s petty and childish name calling, and it’s unpleasant, but, and as I used to tell my kids, “sticks and stones”. I’ve called and been called those names on here over the years as both a fan and a mod.

Agree with this. If it’s purely a footballing debate then there’s no cause for a ban.
It’s when fights are being offered and kids/families are being brought into it when a ban becomes necessary.

The vast majority of posters have no problem with me and I have none with them.

Not trying to "spam" you about this but isn't this exactly what 2 users were banned for yesterday? If you can elaborate and explain how and why those cases were different I'm sure a lot of people would be satisfied with that but I think people just want to see consistency with it.
