That ability to hover he's developed over the summer can only lend itself well to defending corners.Trai Hume gonna be like a new signing. He’s grown a couple of feet over summer

It's great! I love it when we sign someone no-one has linked before,it emphasises the quality of our control over the recruitment. The longer the speculation lasts about one particular player or another, the more convinced I'm becoming that we're actually doing a deal for someone else!Love how that Talbi is the 2nd player like Sadiki where it was just boom here we go from outta nowhere
Like others have said makes you wonder if these long rumoured interest ones are genuine, as in Albline which has been all summer
Petrovic and Mika are high profile so I'd expect a bit more media rumbles
Meh. Experienced defender adding to an already solid back line - I’ll judge at the end of the season.
Enjoy mate! Seeing him next week at Hyde Park.I’m down in Manchester for the Stevie Wonder gig (can’t wait). I was saying to some of my old mates that we are now a very well run forward thinking club at all levels. I added to that ‘better than the ****show man united’. Some laughed.
The main worry i have (as i havnt got a clue about the new lads) is them not starting the season in the sideGotta say Talbi is probably the least enthused I am about all our signings so far. Just feels a bit too far on the “risk spectrum” for me. This is a hot take and I absolutely am likely wrong. I just get concerned at the idea he doesn’t adapt / settle and Roberts by default continues as our first choice right winger.
not cheap either.
all that said, if he does adapt and is good, having a winger who can genuinely play on both sides could be priceless

Means I'm missing the preseason games is the only downside.
Another thing on him, he's genuinely good out of possession. Keen to do the hard yards, holds his shape well and seems to enjoy defending which is rare for a winger.Really like the Talbi signing. Quick, direct, has end product. Really like that he can play both sides, think it allows us to bring in another winger perhaps a left footed one.
Loving this window so far, haven't signed one player where I've thought I wouldn't do that.
Not to mention they aren’t gonna be defending against Nahki Wells and Josh Coburn. They’ve got to keep the likes of Evanilson and Wissa quiet and that’s get “little old” Bournemouth and Brentford nevermind the big boys like Salah and HaalandThey’ve lost Egan-Riley and are losing Trafford.
Now they have a past it right back.
I’m not sure that back lines gonna be all that solid now.
Wrong kind of signing for me that.
One of the games against Villa, they were down to 10 men from fairly early on and he was grafting his backside off playing effectively as a wing back/one man right hand side. Decent positioning and physicality for a winger - particularly one so young.Another thing on him, he's genuinely good out of possession.
