i reckon that’s why he’s quiet now. There isn’t anything to be right about at the moment if the player hasn’t decided

I think that’s a natural human thing to do. You want to maximise your income especially if you pick the “lesser” option

If he’s after 50-60k, given his ranking in Europe last year, then we should consider paying it.

I’ve done it. Offered a job with a big pay rise I didn’t want. Leveraged it at work and got a pay rise to stay.

You could argue Jobe is a completely unique prospect due to his surname plus it took two years, there isn't another Jobe in world football in terms of his unique profile. Cresswell's dad was a journeyman striker, the lad himself couldn't break into the Leeds team, it's all a bit too much imo.

yeh he’s either quiet because he doesn’t want to draw attention to him being wrong, or he’s silent because he’s waiting on a decision

I hope it’s the latter
