I’d probably agree. Wouldn’t fancy him starting many gamesI think I’d want a better lb to challenge cirkin

Great post marra and I agree with you.Le Bris is going to have to adapt a bit next season imo. I dont think we can go and play a low or mid block and survive. We will have to mix it up. There are going to be 12 or so home games where targeting 3 points is vital. In those games we will need to be more possession orientated. Counter attacking in the prem will be so much harder to do. Then there are probably 12 away games where we can target something too, where even a point will be a good outcome. A different style will be needed again.
I am really interested to see how he approaches the season tactically. Like our players he is stepping up to a level above what he has known so far. He is against coaches who in many cases have done much more. Like with our young lads I am excited to see how we does and I am quite confident he will thrive.

Overpaying for lads in their mid 30s has to have a ceiling like. Insane strategy because theres literally no sell on.
Experienced and out of contract this summer I think. Okay as competition on a 2 year deal I suppose. Not exciting but we probably need five first team signings and five or so competition signings. For the latter we need to be bringing in some free signings to allow us to focus on better first team signings.Harry Toffolo?
Plenty of experience and has played in the PL recently
Decent left foot, great delivery into the box
Would be cheap

Hhhaaa'wwwwaaaaayyyyyy the lads
He played a fair bit in their two relegation battling seasons that were, ultimately, successful but only made 7 appearances in total last season. He’s probably decent value and good enough to provide decent competition but no more than that. On a free with a two year contract I think it would be okay if it means more funds available for first choice incomings.Toffolo wasn't good enough for relegation battling forest, not sure that's the calibre we would need especially as he's 30 before the season starts

Some great players moving for nothing

Linked very vaguely to a few, but nothing much new really. Today Gray, youngster from Man City linked along with Harry Tofolo.I’ve been away for the last few days and not managed to keep my eye on the transfer chatter.
Could anybody summarise the recent rumours and developments?
Just as a substitute really, id be fine with someone like that coming in but in a position I don't think we need to improve - id want a left back this summer so don't need another backupHe played a fair bit in their two relegation battling seasons that were, ultimately, successful but only made 7 appearances in total last season. Seeing a liverpool fan rave about ekwah’s graphs on twitter. How Sunderland supporters don’t know how good he is etc

I'm probably missing something here but has he?Really good player. Played a lot of games CM and is good on ball as well.
Wonder if Marseille fancy selling us Balerdi? We haven’t had an Argie for a while.
They had a beast of a defender on loan from Brest who was PL physicality as well, names escapes me. Wonder what he’s up to
Googled him Brassier how did I forget that haha. Looked really decent but couldn’t get passed Belarus and they used Kondogbia CB for his left foot.
MCL tear 2/3 weeks ago sadly, no luck that blokeOxlaide-Chamberlain linked with Leicester on a free.
Looks like he’s been fit and playing in the main is that worth a look for ‘experience’.
Lad can play.

Anyway yeah I saw some article about balerdi yesterday but can't remember what it was, something happening with him.
For Sunderland at the moment the Premier League is a bit like Formula One. Our fight at the moment is not with the biggest and best teams it is with the teams who are going to be around usNever understand this sort of view
I don’t support the league, I support Sunderland
How does it impact you if he’s in the English league playing for one of the enemy clubs (and that’s what the other 91 are) vs playing abroad?
