Seems a few players "agreeing terms" before the clubs are agreeing fees? Thought there was a word for stuff like that.
Oh but they will be driven by Sunderland. Players under contract. And wtf are they doing agreeing terms with a current SAFC players before fees are agreed. Seems the piss taking party has officially stopped
I doubt the negotiations are as dramatic as the media are making out tbh. SAFC are pretty savvy these days and Jobe knows that, my guess is that he'll want the club to benefit from his departure ... ... he clearly loves the club and will be leaving some good mates behind. He'll want us to prosper and won't be stamping his feet in my opinion. And, seriously, are Dortmund really that desperate to have Jobe there for this Club World Cup ... ... how many remember Man City winning it?
https://x.com/HarryLivEcho/status/1884644545700245638 centre back Michael Keane is set to leave the club in the summer on a free transfer. #Burnley, #Coventry, Sheffield United and #Sunderland have all shown interest in the Englishman. I wonder what 'showing interest' actually means and who tells them
Tolu Arokodare just switched agents to CAA which is the agent of a lot of top players in England and is agent to a few Sunderland players Apparently interest from England and other team in europe I know nothing about him tho, top scorer in Belgian league was bought to replace onauchu who went to Southampton Edit: Haven't seen any links just seen that fabrizio romano posted on Instagram about the change of agents which always means someone's pushing somewhere
Talented player, unsurprisingly for a City CM he's good on the ball. He's not ready for PL football so this would be a signing with the future in mind
I'm pleased someone has a clue cause I've never heard of him! Its our kind of profile though isn't it.
Was linked to Bayern, also statistically one of the worst finishers in Europe but certainly a big lad.
Overpaying for lads in their mid 30s has to have a ceiling like. Insane strategy because theres literally no sell on.
I keep seeing that Jobe has agreed a 5 year deal. I can only assume he was allowed to go and talk to these clubs with it being so public? If not then as you say it's tapping up and against the rules isn't it? Why is it so accepted these days? As others have said Jobe agreeing a deal and saying Dortmund are where he wants to go weakens Sunderlands hand massively! And I assume this will happen in loads of deals where the player agrees before fee, so why is it allowed to happen so much these days? Should be Jobe x,y and z have reached what we want songs talk if ya interested or no one has hit what we want so no bother talking to them!
