This is nectars make or break at 22 for me

seems strange to loan him out again at that age if we don’t view him as a Sunderland midfielder or defender I think we cash in now while his stocks high and put a sell on in.

seems a likeable bloke so shame if it doesn’t work out here
In fairness it's worth remembering he's started as a midfielder a year ago, not just like a normal 22 year old player.

A second year in midfield should give us a good judgement.

Selling triantis wouldn’t make any sense to me. Loan to the championship would be best imo. If he struggles, move him on, if he does well we can either have him in the team if we go down or see what he’s like in pre season to have a go at the prem if we’re a little more established. Getting in the SPL team of the year playing outside of the old firm is really promising.

Any thoughts? Moore as 3rd choice keeper, Huggins and Alese as squad players. Tried to keep it realistic, but wanted to add in better players for the best chance of survival.

I do feel we need someone of more quality in place of Neil or Jobe, like a proper physical powerhouse or experienced head myself

We were in for him, apparently he didn’t want to join a club fighting relegation. This attitude is going to become an increasing problem for newly promoted clubs

Dont suppose you can argue and I never had anytthing against Brentford but I can't stand Frank.

He's done a good job there but he's one of the 'theres too many games' managers, he rested players against Newcastle in the quarter final of the cup, mate youre brentford, behave, a trophy is massive. One in favour of scrapping cup replays, massively important to the lower levels and again they're below the likes of the mighty brentford according to him.

A club fortunate enough to find themselves in the prem when the drawbridge was raised.

Certainly improved. And actually realistic.

My first thought, and it’s not what you’ve put together because you’ve appropriately leaned on links, is that squad doesn’t stay up.

We need more goal threat somewhere, whether that’s a striker or winger reading it laid out like you’ve done makes me think ‘needs goals’.

I’d back Mayenda to get 10, but where the rest coming from. We gonna need 45-60 goals to survive.

We got quite a lot start of the week and then it dried up back end. With the EPL needing the retained list soon I reckon we’re working on contracts and seeing Jobes decision aswell as working on Hendo before the real squad building begins

On the fence with Mepham, good player and was mostly very good for us but not sure hes cut out for the PL. Wouldn't be against him as a squad player but we need a real quality LCB for next season imo.

If Mepham is a free transfer it makes sense as long as we sign someone else

For me it's nearly a must sign. He has shown over the season he is the most consistent out of them all TBF. Both in performances and not getting injured. If we are not sure on Mepo we need to sign a whole new back 4 for me!

That's fair enough, I like him and thought he was good for the most part but thought he dropped off quite a bit towards end of season and in the biggest games (playoffs) he was on the bench.

He's great in the dressing room and I wouldn't be against him joining, just feel there might be better options available

Oh yeah. There are better options for all our players TBF. That said, I think for around the 5m or so he would be a very good permanent signings. Adds some maturity to the group for me. Lots of players seem to look up to him too.

We might even be able to sign on free, if it's a free it's a no brainer and then gives us more money to focus on real genuine quality

My worry with Mepham in the prem is his pace. We saw in the final for their goal once caught on the hop, there's no chance of recovery.

He's only going to face quicker and smarter players next season.

If free, squad option, but not starter every week.

I reckon Mepo is the fastest of our centre backs to be fair
