If he’s being linked with a Greece call up in midfield we should certainly have a long look before we sell. Decent standard national team and at very least if it actually happens adds to his value.

We still need to sign more powerful and quicker players.
I don’t, seeing as he is Aussie/Greek. As are about half the population of Australia. There’s a couple clues in his name about his lineage… Bright spark.
Unnecessarily combative, but sure. Only going off the premise that he's represented Aus U20s/U23s and was born there.
We were physically crushed in midfield that day. By strong players on form mind. But that’s the first where we have to stiffen up. We also couldn’t retain the ball at the top of the field. I’d still say that’s a weakness. Wood at Forest is limited but helps his teammates play at the right end.
There's a massive proportion of Greeks in Australia as a few generations ago there was a war between Greece and Cyprus and Australia offered refuge during it. Mark Philipoussis, Nick Kyrgios, Thanassi Kokkinakis from the tennis world. Marcus Stoinis from cricket. Then obviously Ange Postecoglou, Dean Bouzanis and Stan Lazaridis from football.
Also our players have come on along way since then - that's the benefit when signing young players, they should continue to get better 100% we need to add to the squad but I'm also really excited to see who can make the step up
What, you think the wording of your post was respectful, or was it a sarcastic shot which looked a bit silly given your facts were off? I’m going off the premise he is of Greek descent, and was linked to a call up for them in Greece not a week ago. If you take a shot that’s gone mate, but don’t rule out a ricochet hitting you. It’s called ‘responding in kind’.
Meps was a great signing had a couple months rough patch but overall class at the level I have concerns about his pace at PL level, it showed in the championship on occasion, see Sheffield United first goal hamer burnt him. There’s also times he stepped out but isn’t quick enough so ended up getting a booking I think he’d be a smart signing but at his age only a squad player for us with a new starting CB alongside Ballard imo
Triantis has only been called up for Australia mate he’s also spoke at length recently about wanting to be called up to the senior team which is why he needs to be playing
As I remember, they weren't on form and pressure was probably more on them as they'd crashed out of Europe. However, they were a second quicker both physically and mentally. My point is we have improved since then, though still need to strengthen, and as you say, midfield is key.
He's been linked to a call up from Greece and pulled out of the Australia squad because of his "club future". All seems a bit convenient to me. Think we might see him move to Greece.
