I can't see a scenario where Hume isn't a first choice for us. If the Singo interest is real, could it be for a wing back role and we're considering 3 at the back next season?
Think it would be as a centre half

I’m not keen. Doesn’t do enough.
Fair, i feel like he does a bit of everything and be a great mentor for Rigg

I’m in a weird place with Hume. He’s been amazing and he’s a legend but I think he’ll be targeted by wingers a league up. He isn’t always the greatest when skilful quick wingers run at him. He brings a whole lot but it’s a different level.

probably what makes singo or someone like that such a good option, can play RB if hume doesnt adjust.

I still believe Chelsea need more experience to add to their young squad but this would be a very good signing

It's funny how quickly perceptions change it football, but there were Sunderland fans who didn't think he'd be good enough in the Championship for us before he went to Ipswich.

Agree. Still plays at a good level and did well for Luton. People are forgetting we need depth. It’s so so crucial to have two good players not just one in every position

Big advocate for Barclay

had a stellar season for Luton. Great mentor for Rigg. Does a bit of everything same as le fee so if you have those two either side of a dominant DM you’ve got a lovely midfield

Aye someone like Doku is either going to have him on toast, or hume is going to boot him in the air

Agree although I think he will only get better and that our style of play in the early days of prem life will suit him. I can’t see us having a high line very much, and from a low block I think mayenda and Isidor will give any defence in the league nightmares on the counter if we are brave enough to do it.

I reckon RLB and co will be looking at the best way to play in the prem and it would r surprise me if we played a different style.

I was never impressed with him at championship level. His record in the PL has been very impressive

was linked here for a while

Difficult to judge that level, he is playing in the lowland league against what are essentially non-league footballers and that's where the bulk of his goals have come (he has also played and scored in the equivalent european youth league). Worth the gamble for €300k though.
