Yeh Hendo looks like he’s playing a friendly. This is night and day from what’s needed in the premier league for a team near the bottom

That is a bit misleading though. They are indeed owned by a fund, but the fund is a direct arm of the Saudi State. While true that the fund's larger aim is to invest into diverse assets, and make money, it was a front in the case of football. And of course golf, which was openly stated in a US court.
The bought the club for £300m+. They have spent well over £400m and would have spent more if the numbers allowed it. They will never make money out of the club, and really, they are not interested in doing so
