Who’s getting hysterical?

No one mate, just having a bit of harmless fun ...

... sorry if I've offended anyone, not my intention I assure you.

Perhaps innocent banter doesn't translate to the internet where everything seems to be taken so seriously.

I'm obviously a relic from a time when people could take the mickey without getting upset.

How the lads from the shipyards, mines and foundries would cope I've no idea tbh.

Lost me mate.

I don’t see what you’d have said to offend anyone, nor did I see any hysterics.

We all good.

Two left footed centre halves would create very different passing angles and be weird to play against. It’s unusual and could work if the right sided player was flexible enough. Defending 1 v 1s against players who want to hit the touch line and cross would be difficult. Inverted forwards cutting in night actually be beneficial to be left footed on the right.

As long as one of them is comfortable tackling on the right foot I don’t see an issue.

Most sides have 2 right footed.

yep you’re right. the only difference is that most right footed players have played on the left at some point in their life, but left footed defenders very rarely play on the right. The difference is that approx 8-10% of the population are left footed.

I would guess cirkin would struggle at right back, but Hume/Huggins would be ok on the left. Could be wrong about Cirkin of course because it doesn’t necessarily apply to all players.

His cross for the equaliser last night was sensational. Looked so easy but the pace and accuracy of it, I think any kind of touch was putting the ball in the net. He's a class player. Maybe next season when we can offer him Champions League football. :emoticon-0105-wink:

If we're happy for le fee to be on the bench, we'll be the same at the back. Be surprised if another cb doesn't come in.
