Hope not, he's not good enough for the PL

He was class the start of last season but thought he was pretty average 2nd half of the year

It's telling that in our 3 biggest games of the season he was dropped

We need better than him

Yes he would start for us at the minute, but that shouldn't be the bar of whether we sign someone. Tanganga at Milwall would start for us at this minute but he's never a PL CB

Rlb has basically said seelt is going out on loan so obviously doesnt think hes ready

I think it’s more about getting who they want to replace . I’d say if the West Brom deal had clicked he’d be here.

Has he? The picture in my mind might be way off then - I thought they'd be asking for 50m+ easily with his age

We need to buy 2 centre backs better than him. Even if/when we do, do we still not need a centre back of his ilk floating around the place in case of emergencies?

Interesting. Do they think he has the quality....I haven't seen enough of him,....I've liked what I have seen....but,if it's just a matter of him getting match fitness,it wouldn't make sense to send him out on loan?

They rate him massively. I think there is a difference to get match fitness in a league where he is going to play more at less intense than the PL, then just throwing him straight into the PL chaos.

If we loan him out though,we lose his services for the duration.If he stays and plays in the 21s for half a dozen matches,won't that get him up to speed?

It's just not the same. Competitive Vs well, just not. If we don't get who we want, he maybe the back up here for now. If we do, he will go on loan to get some competitive games in.
