If they get 85 for Diaz they would. And he’d force the move. He did it once he will do it again. Liverpool is his dream. Scousers are rolling in money right now anyway with the massive new Adidas deal and the PL prize money. They are literally in a position to build a dynasty right now.
Don't necessarily believe there is a direct correlation, but maybe worth noting the general trend in league position and age of keeper.
Would be a good start to Chelsea’s summer. I expect them to be right up there next season, quality squad
Price wise, thats definitely on the cheaper side 100%. If there was no release clause, and Southampton want 60 for Dibling, got 40 for lavia - Delap must be 50+ surely
I’m sure it’s a relegation release clause I’m sure we’ll be installing similar clauses for new signings
Understandable, possibly protects us from being bloated when going down, and may convince players to come with us that they wont be stuck in the champ if they can do better
I've seen Jander play and thought he was too good for us but reaching the PL changes everything doesn't it? But Jander brings me on to my main question and that's Rudoni. I've seen people wanting to sign him but, imo, he bottled the second leg at Sunderland and was outshone by Grimes who I definitely wouldn't want. If Jander is only worth £20m max why are the Coventry fans saying the owner won't release him for less than £30m. I think he's worth £8/10m because only a Championship club would buy him ... Sheff Utd, Birmingham, Southampton. I really can't see a PL side wanting a player who's probably reached his level. A meringue?
English tax, and a little bit of delusion Agree he's a top champ player who probably isn't good enough for the prem
I do think Rudoni is worth somewhere from 12-16m, not sure hes reached his level at 23. Everton very interested and think I would back that to be a good move.
That's fair enough lads, I don't see much of other clubs so was wondering. He just seemed a bit too cautious for a six foot+ midfield player ... ... although Lampard's tactics hardly helped tbh, the midfield only seems to exist to pass the ball out to the wings.
Only watched Rudoni in 2 games so not a really fair opinion but I was impressed with what I saw. Bit of a unique player in the 10 role, has a bit of size and physicality, loves getting goals, always attacking the box and looked very tidy on the ball. Thankfully missed that chance at the SOL and then let Rigg block him for the Ballard winner so he gets extra points for those two moments. Dont think well be after him but can see why some established prem teams will look to take a punt on him.
