Seen a lot of him, he’s linked with Arsenal heavily. Typical French lad always looks like he’s in the zone.
Also worth noting he was a couple years older than Mayenda at sochaux academy, played with Le fee and Wilson with French youth. Certainly ways to attract French u24 players on a personal level.
Sevilla season was mad, same as Valencia. Could have genuinely went down at one stage, put a run together then coasted the season. They have a really poor squad right now but have some genuinely decent young talent. Corberan went over to Valencia and he was an absolute sensation there, they be tasty next season (and have finally funded completion of new stadium) We could feasibly get players from either club as both are doing major stadium work and need money. Valencia have a topper RB Thierry Correia, Portuguese, sometimes terrifying defensively but he is rapid in a way I can’t even explain, like that American RB we had who’s name escapes me rapid. I like Lamine Camara at Lens as well, we could get players like that for sure.
His profile is almost a perfect bland of those 3 players used above. I was trying to find distance covered by game but I can’t seem to find that stat anywhere
Not a chance. None of this jumping into limelight ‘look at me’ ****. We have seen him and Speakman go on and congratulate the players and hold back. Classy bastards. Focused bastards. They will have a plan.
The swedes love that **** and post the weekly distance covered after every game. Wish other leagues were more like that.
It’s a big stat for me if a 6 doesn’t cover much distance for me it says they aren’t playing to potential and aren’t doing enough work let’s use ekwah for example, all the technical ability in the world but distance covered, work rate etc isn’t there
Wonder what happens with Ekwah now. Regis will have a look, but he didn’t do great in Ligue 1 and SE went down. He played a lot mind.
Can certainly be a really useful stat, always have to contextualize the data though - some 6s especially are tactically required to never really enter the final third which can make them look lazier on paper.
And this morning reports are suggesting Sunderland are keen on Poku. The Wearsiders were promoted to the Premier League over the weekend after a surprise Championship play-off final success over Sheffield United.
Not for me. Don’t believe he translates to the premier league yet, if we were to sign him and give him a championship loan at a top club I may be more inclined, but we need better for now
Could he not be a depth option rather than a starting role? We need two good players in every position for me
